It's already been decriminalized and only a $100 fine now so I guess that's a step. Either way it doesn't phase me I guess so w/e. It's not that were dumb, people are just greedy. I actually didn't even go out and vote because I couldn't make up my mind on the issue. But I do know for a fact that a lot of stoners / growers voted no so that they wouldn't have to compete with competition and keep making good money. The fact that the Obama administration said they would vigorously enforce the federal drug laws if California were to pass it probably scared a lot of people off as well. ruined? you realize it's a weed right it can grow fucking ANYWHERE you don't pay 300$ for an ounce of cabbage do you? You can generally buy tons of vegetables/fruits for 300$, with legalization it wouldn't be THAT cheap, but we are talking about 15$ for an ounce. That's $11 per g which is roughly regular price. Here in Canada its about 7-10$ for a g depending who you know. On another note, I heard (so I could be wrong) that the only area to have a positive vote for this was San Francisco. Pretty crazy.
