Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) : I started playing RuneScape in early December 2003. My first account was Sk8board92; I quit that account shortly after starting, when I decided I was lost and had no idea where to go (later I would learn that I was at the Ice Mountain by the oracle). I started a new account, Sk8board44, the account I still use today. I ended up changing my display name to Djent Mac-D. I never really was into skateboarding; but I've been into heavy metal since I first heard it, so it just seemed like the right thing to do. I've never been too keen on skilling and questing. My favourite aspect of RuneScape has always been the dangerous PvP system. I quit RuneScape in June of 2005, because I was the only one out of my IRL friends still playing it. In April of 2008, I created a new account (Sk8board44 was hacked) to see how far RuneScape has come since I quit. I liked what I saw, so I continued playing. I managed to recover Sk8board44's password in August of 2008, and I've been playing RuneScape ever since then, with one unintentional break (July - October 2010, my computer's motherboard was dead). 2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like): My name is Cody MacDonald, I'm an 18 year old male, turning 19 in September. I'm from a small town in British Columbia, Canada. I've been into gaming as long as I can remember (First game beaten was "The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past" at age 3), RPGs being my absolute favourite. As for music, I've always been fond of classic rock and various genres of metal (no metalcore). 3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan: I used to be a member of this clan in 2004 and 2005. I'm not 100% positive, but I think I read about the clan on the RuneScape forums. I'd like to rejoin the clan in order to get more out of my RuneScape experience. I haven't joined a clan since I quit in 2005 and returned in 2008. My friends and the CC I visit regularly are becoming rather inactive. I'd really like to get back the community feeling of being in a clan. I've been honourably PKing the whole time I've been away from the clan; it's just too hard of a habit to break. 4. Are there any current WG members who you already know: I just took a look at the current memberlist, and the only name I recognize from 2005 is His Lordship. It could just be because of the display name change update. I remember some ex-members, but I don't know if they still play RuneScape. Some of the names I remember are: Gundam4eva20 (my old mentor), Bratty One, Flame Reece, Sainath, Anincent, Jezzamon, Oaktownrules, Uglyshrek, Tha Bum, Marsgars, Dragon5611, Metalic King, and Inu Clone. 5. Any additional comments: I don't always play RuneScape every day of the week. I also play my cb 65+6 1-DEF PKer rather often. I'll post my application within the next week; I need to play some Fist of Guthix to get the rest of my F2P guardian gear before I can complete it. If accepted, I'll try my hardest to stay committed to the clan and attend as many events as I can. -------------------- | ||||
