      IRC Nickname: rachellove Group: Council Posts: 6955 Member No.: 173 Joined: January 31, 2008 Total Events Attended: 305    | I decided to take out my grandma for Mother's Day this morning. I picked her up around 8 am. A local church was having a sale so we stopped to check it out. We walked around about 15 minutes. I turned away and turned back and she past out or something. I called 911 and the police and medical people came and took her to the hospital. I've been with her all day. I think she is okay but I am feeling like really bad about it. Next few days are a bit unclear for me on what will be happening here. I plan on watching over her a good bit. I'll check on and off again. I know you all understand how it goes with family and things. Sorry I missed today's war. I'll try to keep up with my council things, but please help by posting on applications. It can be as simple as I'm sure council will get to this shortly. Thanks for understanding. Tonight I might be on, if I can't sleep as I'm really upset and worried. I took her to her dr appt and got sent to the hospital. Tomorrow a specialist will be checking her. They are over 1 hour drive away so that will be most of my day. I think they ordered 4 more kinds of major testing too. I'll be dealing with that too. I'm not sure which days yet. I gave the hospital our house phone to call cause she doesn't hear well. It does have some humor spending time with her. They ask her things and she doesn't hear it right so her answers sometimes are pretty funny. Then I have to repeat the question closer and louder to her ear. lol I do love her so much. She is complaining about Oscar, my one cat. When she tries to sleep in my bed he comes in and meows at her and keeps head butting her. I had to block the door so he can't get in to her. Lol So yeah I'm not as stressed about it but still lots to do to make sure she is good. Thanks guys for understanding. My update on Grandma. I have two tests set up for this week. I'm not sure but if they make her spend the night, it's likely I will be there a good bit. I sorta fight with the Dr. to make sure he is doing all he should be. He is used to me though so it all works out. I spent the night this week at her house and hated hated no internet. I'm looking at laptops again today so I can at least do dial-up AOL while I visit her or stay. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwy lol This is my update. I'm still trying to play some and make sure I do the apps and grads as I can. Thanks for being patient with me. That means a lot to me. Really, special thanks to the council for covering for me too.
