FUGITIVE

"You got ten minute's pigs."

Summary: Today was my indoctrination of becoming a Senior in HighSchool. I am officially a snob, a know-it-all, and above all I am a superior. But that's not important. What IS, is the game I participated in tonight. Here I go, about to share the most epic, the most secretive, the most testosterone pumping heart beating event you will ever get to experience during your four years in Highschool. I present to you all, at 12:30 AM GMT-8. The game of FUGITIVE.

FUGI-whatt?

Fugitive is a real life game, played by the unruly, the disobedient, and the baddtothebonemothertruckin' young adults of our community. It is a simulated cops-and-robbers chase, played from point A to point B, in any community, on a set given day.

How does it work?

You have your upperclassmen, the "Chasers". We are the guys with the headbangin' ghost ridin' cars.

You have your underclassmen, AKA the "fugitives", or "losers" without the cars.

You have two predetermined schools, preferably at least five miles apart.

After organizing the event (For Ex: FACEBOOK). Everyone Meets up at the destination, this usually happens anywhere from 9-9:30PM on a Friday, Saturday night, when it is DARK.

The Event Leader, the Wizard, brings a SPEAKERHORN. They now explain the rules to the group of people:

The rules are:

The Fugitives will be given 10 minutes to run from the start time.

The Fugitives may NOT use any form of transportation.

There are absolutely NO boundries. EVERYONE may run over cars/fences/lawns/houses/bushes/trees/ noone gives a POS where you go, aslong as you RUN there.

The Fugitives will preferably where ALL Black. Or they may go topless (I go in just BOXERS.)

The "Chasers" will take off driving through the neighborhood/city looking for these Fugitives. They may NOT hit a fugitive/another car.

The "Chasers" will proceed to hop out and CHASE the Fugitives.

FUGITIVES MAY NOT RESIST.

Once the Chaser has tagged/grabbed a fugitive, the fugitive MUST go into the Chasers car, if there is no room, the fugitive is let go.

Once captured it is up to the Catcher weather to take the Fugi to the destination, where they will have to wait till the next round, or weather they become a Catcher themselves, or weather they are released later.

YOU MAY NOT HARM THE FUGI. Though hazing does happen wink.gif

After the set amount of time is up, everyone must be at the new destination, aka spot B. Those still running are considered CAUGHT, and fail at life miserably.

The next round then begins and you now head from point B to point A.

Anyone wanting to be a runner may choose to do so at anytime, as this is often more fun, enless the "Chasers" are wimp-huntin' noob guzzlin' freaks like me who get excited with a chase.

The FIRST runner(s) to make it to both destinations are the Fugitive Champs of the night. And earn intense bragging rights, preferably a SHIRT. One for the first MALE and one for the first FEMALE. These shirts are worn and then given to the next Winner(s) as trophies.

In general games end at 11, so that people may get home before 12, the average Curfew (if your's is later/before...figure it out).

Whats in it for the CHaaaSeeerrsSS??

If you've ever HUNTED someone, chased someone down, then you should know. If not, well then it's INTENSE. Though Highly discouraged, you may choose to bring water balloons, eggs, bb guns, paintball guns,, silly string, duct tape, and buzz clippers. If you bring these, bear in mind you may PISS some runners off, who will probably chase you down or wreck your car. IN GENERAL, treat everyone safely, and be respectable, but have a good TIME.

My NIGHT

Tonights game racked up 700+ teenagers, both girls and guys. There were tons of runners and convoys of chasers. My buddies and I packed 4 into a car, with a fifth spot for the Fugi. We brought: Two cartons of eggs, ducttape, elmers glue, ski masks, flower, baby oil, buzzers, and a bb gun. Yes we egged the crap out of people. After the games there was an afterparty, and then we all scrammed to get back before the cops started arresting people.

A general tip: Enless you are thrilled by the idea of being a Chaser, be a frikkin runner. It is no fun being with a panzi who does not want to "capture" a runner.

Running is fun too, as most people enjoy this the most.

There were kids from all over the city, from all the highschools.

And just a little extra incentive, CHICKS LOVE to be runners. They do it just to get "Picked up". Take advantage of this. Although girls often do not want to be split up from there friends! And good luck on your CHASE!

We played again last Friday, this time at my Highschool.

Got busted because too many cops found out about it and people wimped out after the first game.

BUT, our group of 11 finished amongst the first.

Wayyy too many people with eggs/waterballoons/paintballguns this time...
