I don't like it, I find it excessively complicated.... with the slayer "My current task is" being so stupidly long you will probably have finished your task before you have actually found the monster on the list that they give you. Things That I have found that are particularily stupid: -"Would you like to go play" (if you want to go play something with your mates why not just pm them wanna go CW? much faster) -Anything on the clan's tab.. -I need to slay..... OMFG that is stupid -Any of the greetings.... its meaningless if you cant be bothered typing it. I will ignore any quck chat hello's etc. I do however like the new level up messages (I lvl'd farming immediately after the update) and they are informative. Unless you remember it like counter-strike weapon buying combos. But I doubt that will happen for half of them. It'll be a stupid way for ppl to spam in banks + stuff. Seriously I just like normal chat over that. I think after 1 week only perm muted players will use it. With the new lvl up messages, I've seen some on zybez, but I'm yet to get one myself. They look ok, yes informative, however I think I liked the old look. I agree about not looking at keyboard. I watch RC when he is on and he almost died from that. Funny because you can hit F11 over and over to repeat the last thing you said in quick chat endlessly, and supposed you get muted for doing this. When you're muted you can still spam this way! The best part is that there IS a chat filter. You cant type things as fast as you want on RS, only as fast as the game lets you. which is like 1 line/second. so i dont get the point of this "spamming thing" cant they make the filter more advanced, such as "too many repetitions, please don't spam" Jagex confuses me sometimes. Also, i wish when u hit F11, you didnt have to RE-FIND a custom thingur. IE. ( I want to buy 1 ...) --------------------   | ||||

For one, the muted population now have a half decent way of communicating. It's slow, but it's something. Also, for the translation from w140 to the rest of the worlds, it enabled German people to talk to those who speak English.I agree that it's much slower for the average user, but i don't really think it was intended for the average user I think it's another of Jagex' ploys to make RS more appealing to new members.~Mugger84 -------------------- Mugger84 Member Of WG Since 4th April 2008. They made Quick Chat for muted people mostly.. Well tell me, why make something that will allow peopl to talk that shouldn't be talking? Being muted is a punishment, and punishments should be accepted. Being muted wont hit you as hard now that QC is out. I was muted, and I tell you, it almost made me quit RS and so I have tryed my hardest before lashing out on RS. I don't think I would think the same if Jagex actualy gave a shit about me when I was muted. --------------------   | ||||
