Hello Everybody!!

The time is finally here, it is the 2nd of February and we are finally ready to open the Wilderness Guardians Skills Academy for business!

Many of you will remember the previous skills academy we had on the old forums. Our new skills academy is extremely different from the old one.
The old system allowed you to just post your levels.. and that was the extent of it.

So let me explain the new system.

Every time you receive a skills level (the allowed skills can be found here, you post it onto your topic.
At the end of February and each month, the totals will be gathered up and we will see who has gained the most levels in the month.
The winner will receive a pretty underbanner for their own use.

You must only post one level on one post - this is because we will see who has won for the month, by the number of replies you have (and therefore the amount of levels you have gained.

You may notice at the moment, that most of the topics have the words [In edit] in them or [Currently in Construction], don't worry about this.
Winddancir has worked extremely hard and stored a picture of every single member of the skills sectors stats on her computer.
These pictures will be uploaded and posted onto your topics in the next few days.

You can start without these pictures though, just start skilling, it is all logged ad safely stored.

What do I do now!?

Before you start skilling, you MUST read all of the stickied (pinned) topics at the top of the skills academy forum.
This is extremely important and will answer all your questions and queries.
The links for these topics can also be found at the top of this post.

Then start skilling!!

If you have any further questions, please do not hesistate to contact me either on the IRC, in Runescape or on the forums via PM.
I will be glad to assist in any way I can!

Remember THIS IS A RACE!!

Most importantly have fun and good luck!

lol, this comes out right as im training cmb. hash.png

Oh yea, and if you guys eliminated construction because you can buy it up then get rid of fletching, cooking, crafting, herblore, smithing, and firemaking because you can "buy" those too....really, you can buy up almost every skill in rs, not my fault that some of us can money make really well

this is a racist race. someone can get 30 lvls in less than a week if doing cooking. on the other hand im full time doing slayer which takes ages, even if cannoning every single task i still cant keep up with that.

i propose that it goes on xp gain per skill and each skill has a different value for instance

every 100k cooking xp gets you 1pt
every 15k slayer xp gets you 1pt

and at the end of the month you tally up how many points some one has, because i know im not going to come close to winning as i might get only 5 lvls over that whole month. and im not switching my goals just to get an underbanner cussing.gif

Well... i'll take Wonders and Keiths ideas into consideration. but you are all forgetting the main point of this.
To gain levels (exp too)and essentially to just train your skills and have fun.

gorge, you made it a competition, if you want me 2 partisipate it must be fair for all skills. and also if i do see that banner in someones sig wat do you think im going to think "wow that guy really put some work in" or "that guys a fag who went to an easy skill instead of following his personal goals"

Looks like it has great potential and hopefully everything can be worked out so its fair because my favorite skills are RC and Con which are not the easiest to train.
