I have taken the time to upload one of WG’s finest war videos, with the pain of a slow internet connection (upload wise). Many videos came to mind as to which one I would share with you guys, such as WG vs. THE (with an epic run-in – but we lost), X vs. DS (our largest war but it was with 2 other clans – and we lost as well), KF vs. ROT (awesome KF raid but yet again, wasn’t WG by themselves), WG vs. Valor (Great war but we lost as well) and many others (such as WG vs. BD which setup our P2P success). BUT, it all came down to this….to be honest, this is WG’s greatest F2P war win. This was at the PEAK of our war activity. Not long after this was the P2P war vs. DOA when we pulled 399 opts and won the war in 5 minutes. But no other F2P war can compare to this. This was when we were getting called ‘F2P nubs’. People didn’t think we were any good in F2P, with the great success we were having in P2P. But we truly showed them. We ripped up close to 350+opts and ended up winning by more than 200 opts. As I said, no other war can compare to this. I know I promised many war videos a couple months ago, but sorry, this is all I can scrap up with my internet connection (it has VERY slow upload speeds). It was at this 'Golden Age' where I was truly honoured and proud to be a Guardian, those years of seeing WG grow from a 80+ combat clan to Top 12 f2p and possibly the best p2p clan only challenged by DS. I almost cry when i think back to D-day. Just when we were beginning to make a huge mark in RS, and growing day by day. One decision crumbled years of work and determination. It's most probably just me but there'll always be a part in my body that will never get over it. That day, many of us lost contact with scores of members, sometimes, I dislike looking back at old screenies because I know I most probably wont be able to meet those old friendly faces again.
