      IRC Nickname: Hyperion Group: Ex-Member Posts: 1636 Member No.: 978 Joined: June 23, 2008 Total Events Attended: 141    | So after a few days of scripting, and alot of thinking, i have come up with Runescape on IRC. All in #runepg It's simple, you start off at level 1 and work to lvl 99. The levels needed are the same as in runescape, but that may change. There will also be a random ignore so that you can not just spam. Kinda like randoms in Runescape. There is no combat yet, but that will come soon. To get started it's simple, join #runepg, and type: !knowledgebase. Everything will be explained to you from there. The game is saved to your hostmask, so that while you are away, no one can go on your nick, and then mess up your account. You need to log in everytime. You can also do !logout. But as a safetly feature, when you part the channel, or quit irc, you will automatically be logged out. To Do and action, such as mine, or cook, or fish, or fletch tpye in #runepg !mine/wc/fish/fletch/cook (Item) Note: To fletch, you need 28 of the types of logs that your going to use. Also fletching will use the logs you have cut already, therefore it's like Runescape, you need the logs to fletch. String is given to you. use ~wc/~fish/~fletch/~mine/~cook/~stats [NICK] To look up you level, your EXP and EXP to next level. If you supply a NICK, then it will look up that person instead. Providing they are on IRC at the moment, and are actually registered and playing. To sell your items to the general store type: !sell General/player ITEM quantity Ex: !sell general normal_longbow 14 The money will be automatically added to your bank. To buy from the general store start by typing: !buy general ITEM you will then get a message telling you how many of that item the general store has, if it has any. to complete the transaction type: !confirm ITEM amount I have begun to work on buying items, right now you can do !buy item iron-dragon axe, providing you have the money, and the wc level. Having a better axe will allow for you to chop more logs, getting more logs more often. (Selling to players coming later.) If you wish to see your inventory just type ~bank Suggestions and Comments are wanted. Also please post any bugs on here. I'm having troubles with the colors for highscores, but that will be fixed. Latest News: 1) As was pointed out to me the fletching exp bit was a bit off, so i went looking, and it is now fixed. 2) ~bank is completely done for all 4 skills. 3) !cook added, you can cook all the fishies you caught [Reminder] You loose the fish you cook from your raw fish inv, and they get placed in the cooked inv. Sometime soon i will be adding burnts to the game also. 4) After an encounter with 2 people using timers, i have decided to places ignores on all commands. They will happen every time now, not just every once and a while. Similar to Runescape certainthings will take longer to "respawn" Such as Runite ore, and Magic trees will take 30-40 seconds to respawn, while sharks only "respawn" every 20 ish seconds. The same goes for all ores/trees/fish. Just like it happens in Runescape, the more valuable things take longer to respawn. 5)You can now sell things to the general store. Selling to players will come later. 6)The bot will now tell you when your tree/ore respawns, or when the fish can be caught again, or when you have returned from the bank. 7)You can now buy from the general store. 8)I have begun to work on buying items, you can now buy axes for woodcutting, the better the axe, the better the chances of getting more logs more often Have Fun [Sooth] --------------------    Dragon boots:29 Whips:2 | ||

1) Thanks for making me feel like my hard work is appreciated. 2) Remember the saying, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"? It applies to you. 3)I have had quite a few people join, and try it and say it was decent. But then again, they actually realize how much scripting it is. With 1568 Lines currently, and only just begun, it will get huge. Not only is it long, i had to write alot of it out on paper to figure out how to do all the exp/exp to next level parts.
