A few weeks ago we started work on The War Badges and I can now announce that they are all ready and have all been implemented into the system. Many of you (those of you who were on the z6 forums) will remember that we used to have a set of raid badges, awarding people for the amount of raids they had attended. Well I have brought these back, re-sized, re-rendered and re-coloured and now they are ready for use! The War Badges: I am afraid, for every single WG member, all staff included, the amount of wars they have attended will start at zero (0) (from August 1st) Sorry but this is only fair. The Badges go up in increments like this: Novice - 2 Wars Squire - 5 Wars Warrior - 8 Wars Knight - 12 Wars Cavalier - 18 Wars Hero - 25 Wars Champion - 35 Wars Paladin - 46 Wars Veteran - 60 Wars If you think 60 Wars is a lot, it's not, since only official wars will be counted (Check FAQ's at the bottm) NB: You will not see the badges until you/someone else has earnt them ^^ This will increase your need to see them and your want to attend wars ^^ A sneaky peek:  How is this going to be recorded? This is going to work in a similar way to the new attendance system. Robbie has added an extra column onto the event attendance lists: http://www.wildernessguardians.com/attendance/list.php The new column says "Total Wars Attended" and is updated via a separate (staff-only) edit page. Important: For every war you attend you will receive: ONE War Attendance Point , ONE Event Attendance Point, TWO Rolling Event Count Points. However as I said earlier not all wars are going to count towards this (Check FAQ's) FAQ's Q: Which wars are counted towards this system? A: Only wars where WG are fighting against another clan, no fun wars, no wars involving clan mates fighting other WG clan mates, (Exception: Alliance Wars Allowed (WG+Allies vs Other clans) Q: Do I put the badges in my signature? A: No. When you have received the amount of war attendance points needed for a badge it will automatically appear in the area under your avatar to the left of every post. Q: When is the system going to start? A: This started on August 1st 2008! Q: Pleasee let me see the badges? A: NO!  Q: Who made all these badges? A: I made all of them, but Winddancir sorted out the animation on the 60 war one. Special Thanks go to: Robbiethe1st - Has done so much for us, yet again, we owe him a massive debt of gratitude. Yeah I can see that at the beginning of the use of this system it's going to be confusing, but it will soon be easy to identify which Wars are counted. -------------------- | ||||||

That doesn't make any sense. Also,
No interclan wars? That means basically no wars then. An interclan war is a war with another clan. An INTRAclan war, would be a practice war, within the clan or it's allies. -------------------- | ||||||
