These are basic warring techniques that all clan members should master and improve upon. Some members may already know the techniques, so this thread is for the ones who don't quite understand it.

How to hug:
Step 1: An enemy, or enemies pile you.

Step 2: Click on the opposite side of the obstacle.

Step 3: You will then move to the other side.

Step 4: Your enemy will be trapped on the other side of the obstacle.

Hugging prevents attacks from the enemy and is very efficient in keping you alive. The more you hug, the longer you live.

How to prevent being hugged:
Step 1: You are attacking an enemy.

Step 2: They begin to drag you towards the side of an obstacle.

Step 3: Before you get caught up on the obstacle, be sure to click on the other side of the obstacle.

Step 4: Once you're on the other side of the obstacle, begin attacking your enemy once again.

If you can prevent from being hugged then this will cut down the length of time your enemy wll survive. This process will be repeated because your enemy, if smart, will continue to try and hug you.

How to Pile:

Piling is the most important tactic in wars. In order to pile, you must spam.

Little piling is being done. When there are people everywhere attacking every enemy littl damage is being inflicted.

Picture 2 (Good Piling):

Everybody is attacking one enemy, Doing this gives the enemy little time to react. For instance, hugging and eating are near impossible for them, which is what we want. This enemy will fall very quickly. Then we would move to the next enemy.

This is the correct technique we need to use. Everybody needs to attack one person at the same time. But how do we know who to attack? Spamming.

How to Spam:

Spamming is just saying who you are attacking. In order to spam correctly you must state which side you are on by saying, "X" (X=Your clan name), and who you are attacking. If Cody was the enemy, all you say is, "X on Cody" or in a more simple way of saying it, "X Cody." This is so we can always pile the same person.

Keep in mind that if one of the leaders or warlords is spamming a name, you must pile (attack) that person.

Any Extra Information:
Always be prepared before the war.
Always attack lowest combat level to highest combat level.
"Fi" means "fall in." Follow the person leading.
"dd" means "death dot." Stand in the same place as everybody else is (use the mini-map)
Always pay attention to the war
Always listen to the leaders and warlords
"Massing" means "meeting"

 Useful information, but just out of curiosity, did you at least ask the guy that made the guide you're showing us that you were doing this?

At the very end he specifically asks people to not take his work...

If you haven't asked him, I suggest you drop him a PM on the Rune Legions forums ASAP to get clearance.

Other than that, good for you. We can always use another war tactics topic, they're all very helpful.
