      IRC Nickname: Robertw56 Group: Guest Posts: 1908 Member No.: 15 Joined: December 29, 2007 Total Events Attended: 118    | Here I am today, around 11 months of service to WG, it comes to an end, this is indeed my resignation and leaving post. I've been pondering this for well over 2-3 weeks, mainly the reasons of my activity, people pointing out that I'm not pulling my weight, not being on Runescape enough. First off, I'd like to say the reason I'm not on Runescape a lot is down to the fact; I would rather shoot myself than play Runescape sometimes, the only aspect of the game I enjoy is the PvP, that is it. I find no point in playing, it is repetitive and down right boring to play. And me not pulling my weight, well thats my fault, I find it hard to do Council work after being AT work all day for 7-8 hours. When I get home I don't want to be on IRC all night fixing problems, I don't work like that, I should of realised what I was getting into when I applied for Council, sadly I didn't. The only way you can realise how stressful Council can be, is to actually take up the position and do the day to day jobs that come up. Basically, I sucked really, a lot of you seem to think that, fair enough, but there was no need to rub it in my face. _________________________________ Ok onto a different subject, the PvP side of WG. I'm a warring person, through and through, I don't skill, I don't go boss hunting and all that crap. I need excitment, I need PKRI's. It seems the things I want to do, WG doesn't. I've tried to get WG more into warring, but have to realise, WG is community based, not warring, that was my mistake. I probably could of tried harder, but I can't change what people want, hell thats impossible. But hey whatever, I'm sure you'll find a new Warlord who wants to do warring and community based events, I was an asshole and just wanted warring. _________________________________ My career in WG has been....slighty weird some might say, it's gone like this; Trial guardian Guardian Elite Guardian <--- Don't ask how i skipped higher guardian. Trial raid leader Raid leader Clan friend Ex-member Trial guardian Guardian Raid leader <- DZ promoted me on the spot, no application. Council <- I get voted in a way I didn't want, with the council choosing whether to let me in or not, never liked the fact that I never got accepted properly. And here I am now, writing my resignation, it had to come sometime. I could do shout-outs, but I'd be here till tommorow morning writing them out, I'm just going to do a few people who come to mind that have really made an impact on my time in WG; Dale - Best friends till the end  You made WG fun for me, whenever i was down you'd have something funny to say XD.Vince - You're just an awesome guy, cool to talk to, great guy all round, we'll keep in touch. Randy - You're one of the most dedicated people here, have a great mind, very creative, awesome guy Pazenon - My first mentee back in late 2007 I believe, you are probably the nicest guy I know, always something positive to say, we'll keep in touch man  And the rest of the Council, you can see my post in Level 4. __________________________ Well thats it, I will officially leave on Sunday 12th October. (I posted my Resignation in Level 4 on Sunday 28th September) Please, I beg that you let me go in peace. It's a fucking bad thing. And frankly WG's community has failed us today. We forced a council member out of his own clan again... AND I KNOW WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE AND IT FEELS LIKE SHIT. I will not stand around and let my council be treated like that. Rob's done plenty for WG, and not been recognised. I TOTALLY get what he means about coming back to deal with kids bitching on the IRC. I personally am going to put an end to that. I can't stand IRC drama either. But this topic is about Rob. He's walking out the door and you can't see what you are all fucking going to lose. De ja vu all over again. Fucking hell.
