There's so much to say but time really is running short. As some of you probably know, I'm about to head off to an exciting start at university - going to durham uni to study geography. I always said to people that i'll be under serious inactivity when I go to uni. That's why I've been emeritus for a while, and obviously why I haven't taken any leadership position (but of course, im too rusty to do that nowadays =p) Setting off on the sunday (5th), which is pretty late starting. Durham is about 2 hours away by train/car. I may be coming home from time to time (after the october madness) because I have responsibilities back here I can't (well, don't want to) let go. I most likely won't be turning the computer on though, if I do stay at home. Won't really be on much in the next few days which is why I'm writing a goodbye now. I've still got quite a bit of uni stuff to sort out (chosing modules, ID etc), along with having many things to finish off, bikes to buy, and of course people to see + say goodbye to. Basically living up what few days I have left here. Straight off, I'd like to just thank WG for everything I've experienced in the 2 and a bit years since April 22nd 2006 (first person to apply on the phpbb wg.com forums). Its been a fantastic time, with many laughs, great entertainment, and a surprising amount of maturity, life lessons, diplomatic skills, and psycologal insight that I will take away and use in the rest of my life. WG was my 2nd ever clan, and I never wanted to leave, through thick or thin. I've really gotta say - there's something special about this clan. Its survived through so much, and really is unique in every way. I'm proud to have been a part of it. I've made a final suggestions topic giving off pretty much everything I can think of, so WG is no longer in my hands (well, the tiny bit I might have had before) I could write shout outs, but the list would never end, I've met and got to know too many great people, and I'd hate to miss someone out. I'll try and speak to a few people on IRC before I leave, but don't really have that much time. Hopefully you all know who you are, I'll miss you all, and wish you best of luck in the clan, and in the future. Just for no reason at all, I'll go through the ranks I've held in WG (if i can even remember them): Trial member Member Senior member Raid leader Moderator (after d-day) Council (march 07 i think) Banned (for 2 hours  )Council Warlord Emeritus Guardian Higher guardian Elite guardian Emeritus Elite guardian Emeritus ..and that's it Not much else I can say really. Just thanks to everyone who's made my time here great, and good luck to everyone. And of course, fantastic job gene on your tremendously hard work on the clan, and it was a pleasure to work with you. Its an understatement to say you worked bloody hard over the years, especially with so much opposition. I really don't know how you did it. And hopefully you'll do it for a long time into the future. So yeah, may not be seen again till christmas. Although I could probably get internet access and get in contact, there's so much to do at uni and I don't want to miss a minute of it. Socials, events, work, travelling, planning towards doing my queen's scout award (including a 50-70mile hike next summer), sports, etc. I want to use this time in my life to unroll the ambition's I've had for a long time. Of course, I'll have to work to raise funds for that. I've got a dying urge for adventure, and I've missed too many oppertunities earlier on in life, and wasted a lot of my days. I want to make the most of these days, and do things I'd never have dreamed I would do. Once I make the ambitions come true (which hopefully, I will), I'll be sure to let you know. (I would like to stay emeritus, but times have changed and emeritus have event attendance requirements. If by attending pretty much no event means I lose my rank, then that's the way its gotta be. Totally your call) Anyway, for now, goodbye.
