To be able to apply for the position you will need to currently be a Guardian or higher. This position consists of not only hosting and attending events but keeping all attendances and recaps up to date along with holding a Half-Op position in the IRC channel. The applications will be open until Thursday 6th November. Once the applications have closed the candidates will be considered by Council along with the assitance of the current Event Leaders. After discussion the result will be posted by next week. The Form for Applying: This form is the basic format to fill out your application. If you wish to increase your chance of obtaining the position I advise taking your time and expressing your feelings fully. Please take your time making the application form. I can offer a dedicated Event Leader, always willing to help and always willing to host events in any time zone to satisfy more than just members from my time zone. I will be mature, responsible and active, on forums and IRC, I will make sure all recaps are up to date, if not, I'll update them myself, if no one else has done so. One of the main things I can offer is my experience, I done almost every job there was to do in my old clan, Event leading was one of them. I am also available Monday - Friday most weeks and I'm more than up for some hard work. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Nope, not that I know of. What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? I am mature, active, loyal and experienced. I have the ability to come up with fresh ideas based on member suggestions and from my own thoughts. I have been in this clan for almost a year, attending as many events as possible and treating everyone with respect. My loyalty speaks for it's self I would say. I have the up-most respect for the leadership, and I would do allot to make their jobs easier. Is there anything else you would like to say? I have shown respect to everyone until recently, but I have done my punishment for this so please don't let it change your judgement on me as a person. I have been in this clan for a while now, and I owe the people in it allot, I think this position would help me give back what I owe to WG. Amongst other things, I have held many successful events before, ranging from Flower Power, to the less popular trawler events. Well, to start with, I would be the Australian Event Leader, since Anatcrafter got promoted to council. Also, I prefer to be known as a skiller, keeping my 35% combat percentage maximum for at least two years. I love to do skill events, but unfortunately, being in Australia, and still being at school takes tolls on your activity. But if i do get elected as Event Leader, I will make it my job to go to any event that is not during school time, even if it means waking up at 3am on a school night. I especially love those different, random events, that no one have ever tried, many of which comes from Randy  hopefully, more can be arranged in Australian time to suit even more clan members.Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? I will be gone on holiday for a week or two on my summer holidays coming up in January. What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? My determination to one day represent the clan image. (Even if it means i can not wear a dress anymore ) I just always seem wanting to lead, as if i was born that way. My year in primary school as school leader showed me what it was like, to have a whole group of people looking up to you, and listening to every word you say as if it were written in gold ink. And eventually I will like to achieve it on and off RuneScape.Is there anything else you would like to say? Patience and a desire to give this clan what it wants. Im also active as it gets basically, even if im working, im in IRC. So yea. super active. Im also friendly, and a great laugh. I dont have a problem with jokes, and take what most people say with a pinch of salt. If you say i have a small pns, then err..ok not a good example, because I actually do have a small pns. Commitment, im commited to this clan 100%, I feel that event leader, will lead on to bigger and better things for me, and The Wilderness Guardians. I know, that I haven't hosted an event in a while, but thats because sometimes, like 3 events in a day, is just slightly annoying. It's over a year ago. I would say October 2007, to be safe. Time zone: EST What do you have to offer as an Event Leader? Being that I am a skiller, I think I could offer a good array of events that can motivate skilling, as well as make it more fun for people who aren't necessarily skiller fans to partake in events. As of now, the events held on the weekends wouldn't be attended by myself, however setting up events, and have someone else lead an event is one idea. The more common days of events would be Tuesday through Friday, which is still a good 4 days for events to occur. Despite my current weekend arrangements, I feel enough can still be done, especially in cooperation with the others in the event leader team. Majority of the events that I would create if elected would be EST time themed, however, once the semester of college, my nights will be VERY open, and I can include GMT or any other time zones for a good length of time. I plan on having events voted for, and try to put the more popular ones in front, but, I will still include some of the events that aren't as popular, assuming we have enough people willing to try. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Only the usual Work. I am available Tuesday - Friday. I work Sat, Sun, and Mon. On all weekdays I have classes at college, but I am done no later than 1pm. Once we get closer to holiday season at work, and this semester at college is over, I'll be working 50 hours a week, however, my nights will still be open for events... (GMT events and such, like aforementioned in the previous paragraphs.) What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? I do not think I'm above anyone else as far as this rank goes. It's hard to say who can get the job done before they've actually been given a chance to do it. I do have certain qualities that I believe would help me accell as an Event Leader however. Maturity vs. Sense of Humor. I can always be on the ball with a joke, or something completely random, but at the end of the day, I can be serious when needed. I put on the joking facade to boost morale, keep high spirits... etc. However, I can be rigid when needed. Experience. I've been in the runescape clans circle for over 5 years. In that time I've done every job, excluding anything raid/war related (simply because, I don't like to). I've been a simple member, all the way up through leader/founder. I'd like to think by now, I have a good idea of what's needed in order to get things done, as well as make it so it's fun at the same time. When it comes down to it, that's really all the events are for... FUN. Suggestions/Ideas. Within the last month or so, I've hit up the suggestions forum. I think I have good ideas, and though they aren't always accepted, I can still bring that to the table. I can offer a lot when it comes to that, and with ideas being thrown out, it could spark the ideas of others as well. Is there anything else you would like to say? So apply AT YOUR OWN PERIL! No but seriously, you might think that because this job isn't council it isn't important, that's a load of rubbish. We as tertiaries support the council in more ways than one. Other than that we are also in charge of managing all events, hosting weeklys etc (you know what we do) As well as this we also moderate the forums, there are many aspects to consider when applying for a job like this. We update the WG MSN List, Skill Badges, Skill of the Week etc. I'd like to say that if anyone has any questions about the job/questions generally/ anything just pop me a pm. I enjoy attending events a lot so it makes sense to me to host them. I like the schedule we have of events and would like to step in and keep those active as well as trying new events we never do ..like the different worlds for some events like trouble brewing, castle wars, runecrafting, group questing, mole hunting, group slayer events. Is there anything upcoming in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Not that I can forsee. What puts you above the other people applying for Event leader? I hate these types of questions. I guess I know what I enjoy and I can try to make a fun time for everyone. I like the people in WG and I love to make this place happy. Anything else to say ? I have a very active and wild imagination. This can allow me to help create more events, and some that have yet to be done. I can usually make even the most boring events fun. As I have yet to complete every quest, I can lead a few clan quest events, like His_Lordship used to do. I can also lead the clan through the many quest I have already done. I also feel that we have a lack of skill events that people actually like doing, so I feel that my imagination can create new ones that not even Jagex knew were possible. I will also do weekly or monthly surveys that will help me find out what events were liked and which were not. This will allow us to get the maximum turnout to events. I would also like to add that I am usually on during all American time zones and even the Aussie time zones. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Not that I can think of, I have already overcome not having my own internet connection lol. What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? If you want my honest opinion I feel that everyone is equal. Yes some people are better at some things, but not others. This causing a balance in the universe. I feel that any one can offer exactly what I am, but I can only promise that I can deliver. I refuse to make empty promises. Is there anything else you would like to say? I have experience as an event leader. I have created many events before from wg shout out to wg karaoke (yes i hosted the first one). I have a very creative mind and always have great ideas for wg to have fun with. I like keeping morale up with events that give people rewards like fog and trawler etc. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive? Death... other then that no. I have wrestling practice and a job but thats on weekdays which my services will not be needed. On the weekends i work EARLY in the mornings so no worry about that ruining my WG schedule. What puts you above other people applying for Event Leader? I have experience as one before. Back when WG had its D Day i was promoted to Event Leader and me with a few other brought WG's event streak back up. Is there anything else you would like to say?
