      IRC Nickname: Maths Group: Ex-Member Posts: 1855 Member No.: 54 Joined: December 31, 2007 Total Events Attended: 286    | It has come to the point where I've been around too long and WG really hasn't gone anywhere that I would have liked it to. WG really does have a division in it, and I hope that the new warlord will be able to fix things to make WG a good (warring) clan again. However I'm going to jump ship now, I've seen warlords come and go, and nothing really picked up for me. It's been up and down for 1.5 years now. A lot of things really did turn me off WG. I'm not going to name them all, but for the last 1-2 months things just built up and up over time. I suppose about half the reason is all the fighting and people not wanting to attend raids/wars. I really don't know how you guys want to take RAW ranks when half cannot care how we do in wars. On leaving topics you get a lot of posts saying "Please stay, things will improve". Last time I wrote a leaving post I got that. To tell you the truth, nothing really has improved. Don't say that again, of course there is a chance it may improve, however i'll take my chances and trust my intuition on this one. Where to now. I'm not sure really. Kind of need to go some godwars/dks. Was thinking of joining Fatal Premonition. Good aussie clan with 1-4 hrs pkri's + wars. Sounds right up my alley. O deer, just realised I gotta remind myself every week to do tog. I'll take away some fun memories from my earlier days, but lately its been stressful. Leaving WG will take a great weight off my shoulders. The burden of all the emotional bullshit and pointless flaming really took its toll. When I first joined WG I told myself it would be a stepping stone onto greater things. I'm finally taking that step. I'll hang around for the next 3 days, saying my goodbyes. I think that is the problem with creating a clan whose goal is to gain warring ranks. Half of your members are only in the clan because they are using it as a stepping stone, or because they like our rank. Once we start to plateau and stop doing well in wars, those member start leaving and it hurts the clan. Our recruitment vids and topics do not portray us as the best warring clan, but rather the best clan because of our number and diversity of events, strong community, history, code of honor, respect for our members, and of course our warring prowess. There is nothing wrong with WG being a strong warring clan, but it is important to remember that warring is only one aspect in the bigger picture of what makes this clan great. --------------------   | ||

You have risen through our ranks, and I think that you deserved to do so. I dont often post on goodbye topics, but yours has really hit a spot. I know that the turnout to events has been shocking.
