      IRC Nickname: Trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls Group: Banned Posts: 2956 Member No.: 422 Joined: April 4, 2008 Total Events Attended: 130    | Well, we had 9 applications, and of course we in the end must whittle it down to just two Raid Leaders. It's an incredibly difficult time for the council, a time with much debate on who to give the opporunities, who is ideal, etc. Well, we have decided to run a Trial for the Raid Leader rank. Now obviously, having nine people as trial raid leaders simply wouldn't be an intelligent thing to do... Having nine new halfops in the IRC channel... nine new voices in the level 3 security forum. As a result, over the past few days council, with help from bto, have been deciding who to give this great opportunity and privilidge to. We have come to the conclusion that we should only have four people for the Trial, to then be converted to two full Raid Leaders in two to three weeks time. Now obviously, turning 9 applications into just four trial raid leaders was incredibly difficult for us. In fact, several of the people who didn't make it, didnt make it by a very short distance. In fact, some people were still being debated on 10 minutes ago! That's how close it was, so obviously remember that if you were not selected this time, you can walk away with your head held high, knowing you were incredibly close, and you did indeed put up a strong fight. Anyway, the Trials will go like this: Each of the four people will retain their current rank, but have the Raid Leader forum mask added to them. This means that they have moderating capabilities, and access to the level 3 security forum. Obviously we'll be looking for immense maturity on their parts when carrying out their duties. Over the course of the next few weeks, we'll have our normal amount of wars and training sessions, except for these wars and training sessions, the trials will be the leaders! This will be their opportunity to proove their capabilities as a leader, and shine to the council and current raid leader that they are in fact, the one we want. ANYWAY! I've been rambling. Here are our new trial raid leaders, in no particular order: 1. Maddness990 2. Whizzy110 3. Zemus3654 and 4.... Havochaha Well there you have it, congratulations you four, and once again to those who didnt quite make it (literally JUST didnt make it), please do apply next time we need raid leaders.
