My dog Potter is very sick, she is a minature dachsund. Dachsunds are prone to spinal injuries as they get older. She lost control of her rear legs last night. We visited the vet today who has her on sterioids to hopefully get her better. If she doesn't improve by Friday we most likely will euthanize her. This has broken my heart into pieces. She is my baby and constant companion. I don't know what I am going to do without her. I dont know how active I can be during this time. I hope you all understand. I visited irc to just chat for a bit and mentioned my dog was whining really bad. I am sort of at my wits end knowing what I am going to have to do for her. I was told to "rape" her to get her to be quiet. This kind of disrespect is not what I am about. I am seriously considering leaving over this. I will sleep on it and decide. It may be trivial to a lot of you, but its not to me. I am sorry I ever expected a lot of you to care about me and my life. I am very disappointed in WG right now. If I can't visit irc and get a decent conversation then why be here ? Why waste my free time on people who act and feel this way ? These are some questions I will be asking my heart. Whoever said that to Jenny needs to just leave now, because you don't want to be you if I find out who it was.... Jenny is one of the greatest members WG could ever have, are you seriously dumb enough to say something to upset her? What has she ever done to anyone.... I am really sorry that your dog is sick.... Hardly a joke.... and of all people, you are one of WG's ranked officials, you are supposed to set a good example for people... Not tell people to rape their dogs, regardless of if the dog is sick or not. I honestly can not believe the low level of maturity in this clan. And for those of you who think like I used to and say " it's who I am, I can't change..." that is a load of bull... I did, so can you. Jadi... I am having to put to sleep my companion of 9 years. She has been faithful, loving, and a member of my family. She has always slept with me at night. Is protective, loving and adorable. I love her more than I do a lot of people that I know. I would run in a burning building to save her. To have to know I am going to most likely lose her in a few days has broken my life into pieces. I have to keep her confined. The vet suggested a cage. I couldn't bear that thought. I have kept her on the bed with me for two days, carrying her to use the bathroom holding her while she screams when it hurts. I don't personally give a damn if you are 16, you were taught mannners. I would hope you would have some consideration for others feelings. I can see you don't. Sorry its not a fucking joke to me. -------------------- | ||||||

Jenny my dog got hit on the road last year. I had to trail blood through about 1.5 miles of 2 foot deep snow in the woods to find him. I cried all the way there and to the vets. He had gone in shock and I thought he was going to die. The torment of his cry was aweful. I totally understand your pain. Jadi, what you did was bad enough but you got the shovel out and burried yourself in the forum post. A better response would of been. "OMG I had no idea it was this serious, I'm soooo sorry. Please forgive me for my immature remark. I would never of meant to hurt your feelings." Do you see the difference in that type of appology. You made a mistake once and now you did another one. Just make it right and be done with it.
