[If it is one specific person, please name him/her]: My friend Quikdrawjoe told me that he was a member of WG and he told me about some of your activities. I also had the opportunity to be present at some of your public anniversary events. 3. Why do you want to join the clan? This must be pretty lengthy, and include structured points: RS is a release from the confines of the real world. In RS you can engage in combat or noncombat related skills. Within certain limits, you can choose to interact with a few or numerous real individuals. My information suggests that WG is a community of individuals offering a group approach to both combat and noncombat related activities. The members seem to care about each other during their time together and surprisingly after clan ties have been severed. My RS experience is limited when it comes to player versus player combat and is largely confined to noncombat activities. The possibility of membership in a structured group offering instruction and aid in player versus player combat and companionship is an opportunity that I would be unwise ignore. In addition, WG offers the opportunity to meet and interact with other "skillers", who would provide me with the support and motivation that I need to move forward with noncombat skills--after planting plot after plot of potatoes or onions a lot of motivation is needed. 4. What is your history with other clans? [Please list them, include your rank while in the clan, Explain why you left/got banned/forced to leave. Fill out the mini-template]: Clan Name - Clan Rank - Why you left/got banned/forced to leave I am currently a member PC Elite (PCE), a PC clan. 5. Provide the link to your Introduction Topic: link 6. How many hours a week do you play on average?: The short answer is too many hours, but on average at least 12 hours per week. 7. What is your current membership status, FTP or PTP?: PTP 8. What type of events do you hate?: I can only answer this hypothetically since I have never attended a player vs player related combat event other than Castle Wars. In my introduction, I stated that I do not like pking so I would not like a pk event if there is such a thing. Other that that, I viewed with amusement and envy your recent public events. 9. What do you think it means to be active? I believe being active is attending events and interacting with active members in a friendly, positive and supportive manner. 10. Please tell us your personality strengths/flaws that we should be aware of: The adjective "structured" characterizes my personality. I am goal oriented but socially I am easy going. I am not new to online technologies but I found that I was lost when it came to IRC and teamspeak. Thanks to Quikdrawjoe I seemed to have overcome the initial problems. Also, as I previously stated my knowledge of PvP is almost nonexistent. 11. What will you bring to the WG community?: To the WG community, I will bring myself--my easy going personality with a structured and disciplined mind and possibly an acceptable sense of humor and wit. 12. Please post a screenshot of yourself in Runescape if you were just about to go to a typical full out FTP War where you are allowed to Bind & Melee only (Fist of Guthix Gear advised - If you need help with this, contact a member in #Wg_Lobby or ask your friends): Thanks to Joe. This is what I would bring to a full out FTP War:  13. Please define the following terms: Tanking: Tanking is the process where a player attempts to elude death by evasion and defense. The first through controlled running, hugging structures and obstacles to throw off pursuit, and dragging out the pursuit using up the pursuers run energy. The second is achieved through the judicious use of protect prayers, food and a "high" defense and prayer levels. Hybriding: Hybriding is where a player changes from melee equipment to mage equipment in order to cast a bind spell for the purpose of increasing the probability of a successful pile. ARPKing (This can be found in the FAQs section of our website): WG statement of ethics where the clans philosophy is not to attack skillers or other individuals who are not pking or looking for a fight. 14. In that time he's always been a source of wisdom and wisecracks. He gets along very well with almost everyone though he is not afraid to speak his mind. I would recommend he be accepted with my full support as he would be an invaluable asset to WG with his good nature and good humor. He is well educated in what he knows and he is willing to learn the ways of the things that he does not know. He has a personality that fit in well with me, and I believe he would fit in well with others. I recommend him with all of my support behind him. Being impressed at the amount that I am now after talking to him for one night, I cannot believe what it would be like after talking to him for one month. --------------------      | ||
