I have 5M to spend... and remember I'm very poor.

My bank is pictured above.

Apart from the obvious 10 rune sets, I need to know what else is worth buying... I want stuff that is fairly permanent. No Runes or anything like that. Items that will help me in the long run, like dragon boots for example (except I have dragon boots)

If you are planning on training - Buy guthans.

A amulet of Fury if you are a big spender..

Don't bother with a fury if you only have 5m.
You already have basic armour - rune which doesn't degrade.
A whip, netiznot helm, defender/shield are needed to train efficiently.
But if you do have the money left over, buy guthans.

As the others have said, guthnas is really helpful when it comes to training, for obvious reasons.
Also how did you get 5mill in a few days? biggrin.gif

I suppose you're talking about training gear?

In that case, you're fairly set. You've got Torag's, Dragon Square, Whip and Dragon Scimitar and boots.

At this point it's more a matter of buying something that would make thing's more efficient. I would recommend Guthan's as something you should look towards, or you could invest the money in Karils top and bottom, along with a Zammy Spear and some Prayer Potions and make your way to the Waterfiends. You can get loads of Crimson charms there and work your way up to 68 Summoning which I think is far more useful than Guthan's.

Would probably require some more money making along the way, but I find that it's better that way because 68 Summoning will make things a lot easier for you.

Like.
Wtf.
I have never used guthans.
Is it the worst armour ever.
Go buy summoning levels.
They are well worth it.

Wtf at all the guthans suggestions.

Yeah, but it's worth it. Once you hit 68 Summoning, with a decent Defense level you can survive almost anywhere.

Plus it would really help if he decided to train via Bandits (good if you haven't the time to pay attention and are low on cash - can't afford to die). With Guthan's you've got to worry about the repairs and then making sure to switch the armor on and off, and worrying about lag.

With a bunyip it's constant HP and less worrying, more AFKability.

68 Summoning is definately worth it.

Other than that Guthans is poo if you want to do slayer. Saying you do want to train cmb with slayer, to improve it theres the obvious quests you need to do, i'd suggest doing all the quests, even if you don't have the reqs, get them and finish them all up. They provide a good source of skills n stuff to buy.

You could also do some other skills like magic or ranging for help with Wars, but really combat and agility are your best bet, a long with all the war gear which is pretty cheap.

Dragon armor in general, better defense than rune without the cost of repairs like barrows, might want to skip the plate/chain though.

68 Summon should be a high priority, as the bunyip is dead useful. Doing the Varrock diary, at least to lvl 2 should be another. Free money with buying battle staffs.

ya summoning levels is better for the long run, but if you want to keep your cash, go with guthans.
