The class was okay although I did so bad in it. I also took one of those personality tests in an intro to college class.

Too bad this isn't a psych project on how people view themselves and how they answer questions about themselves. See if people just put higher numbers becuase they want to or truely believe they are different from what they actually are.

And now I'm overthinking this veryevilgrin.gif

Then, I think the data collected would basically be the same.

... This is purely based on my opinion; I don't study Psychology; However, the ranking of one's self depends greatly upon whom you compare yourself to. One's own understanding of life is also significant in that people don't all live the same way and have different experiences throughout their lives; What is considered "normal" can vary from person-to-person.

If I'm wrong, don't hesitate to correct me.
In fact, I'd be grateful. I find Psychology quite interesting. smile.gif

There is a certain bias in asking people to rate themselves though on the other hand some people will rate themselves lower than they actually might be. The study is over but this is something called the Big 5 or OCEAN test which measures 5 aspects of personality. The labels that are on the test are what each section is actually measuring so you can take this one for a very very basic idea if you're curious.

On a side note, I would recommend a course on Deviance if you're in college, you might find it fascinating Firelion.
