Gaming / League Tournament
May 22, 2014, 12:30:51 PM
Riot, the company that owns League of Legends, gives out the Triumphant Ryze skin to the top 4 teams of any officially sanctioned event. The requirements of the event is a minimum of 8 teams, and a minimum of 3 players per team (assuming that the tournament is played on twisted treeline) for a total of 24 players. The host of the event, and any other official or referee, is not allowed to participate. There must be a prize offered of our own, for riot to contribute (this could be a form of rsgp with an event point?). We must have a site set to advertise, even if it's a simple as facebook, and the host of the event has the right to deny entry, keeping this exclusive to WG. We would need to set up a bracket and rules, similar to this:
http://challonge.com/bsc2014lol

The full details can be found here:
http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/community/prized-events

And the event application to get approved by riot is here:
http://prized.na.leagueoflegends.com/competitive/prized/submit

If anyone would be interested in participating, I would appreciate it if you would leave a response to this thread before we get set up. It would be great if you played on the NA server, but if you wish to participate on a level 1, without runes and masteries, I'm sure we could arrange it.

u going for 20 mil for construction?

I probably would, and I have the funds, but I need to save it for invention. Until then though..

Nearly 20m Woodcutting (250k)
Nearly 20m Magic (70k)
Ranged, at 17.31 is now the only combat skill that I have left to get to 20m+

6 skills left for 14m+ in order from closest to furthest:

Divination 13.78
Agility 13.77
Hunter 13.73
Mining 13.65
Thieving 13.59
Fishing 13.58

Also, my peak rankings of 7.7k overall and 1.8k dung have dropped significantly to 8k and 5k, but my dungeoneering rank is slowly rising again.

138m Dungeoneering exp.

I'm really liking the look of the dungeoneering update that should be arriving next week.

I sold my fury and whisper in anticipation of the new necklaces. If they're anything like the arcane stream (4.9% crit / doesn't degrade) then it will be a hell of a lot better than the fury or whisper at 4.2% crit in everything and 3 prayer / 4.4% melee crit and 2 prayer respectively. I'm hoping that possibly there will be an even higher level magic amulet released, along with the others.

I will definitely be buying the pets for my house. The pet blink specifically really caught my eye.

The hexhunter bow update is something that I've been looking forward to for ages. I have 2 bound, 1 in my keepsake, and a couple of others dropped that I didn't have room for (to show off  :D). It disappointed me when they took away it's special ability, and I'm hoping that now it will be good enough to use, not only on magic bosses, but as a viable range tool in the dungeon itself as well.

Chaotic Spear and Corporeal Beast. Enough said.

I want to do an Achievements thread, but something progressive. I guess I'll just post here and update it as I go.

My current goals are:

Pass Bassism/Owen in total experience to knock him out of the top 3 in our clan (no hard feelings bud  :P)
140m dungeoneering exp
50m Strength exp
20m minimum in all combat exp (excluding prayer, summoning, and herblore)
20m minimum in all of my easy skills (cooking/firemaking/fletching/etc.)
14m minimum in every other skill
Finish off my PoH Dungeon
Buy back a drygore set
Find a Sceptre of the Gods

RuneScape Discussion / Keep Track
May 02, 2014, 04:05:55 AM
This is a useful site for keeping track of your completionist and trimmed completionist requirements:
http://www.maxcape.com/

It keeps track of everything, more specifically than the cape rack itself. For example, on my profile here:
http://www.maxcape.com/profile/Emeris6
It shows that I have 300/401 Mobilising Armies rank, 73/4150 Castle Wars tickets, etc., instead of just saying that the requirement is incomplete.

Note that this is manual on everything except for skill tracking.

The site also has a few other useful features, such as designing your own cape colors here:
http://www.maxcape.com/designer/
Where you can also display, view, and vote on other capes submitted.

I hope that others find this as useful as I have.

Welcome to the club. You can apply for the High Level Forums Here:
http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?uid=254-255-290-65146026
The applications are checked twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday.

What completionist requirements do you have left? I may be able to help you with some.

RuneScape Discussion / Re: Master skill capes
April 29, 2014, 07:12:21 PM
It doesn't take up room on the cape rack, have a new emote, have better stats, act as a requirement for trimmed completionist cape, or come with a hood to clutter up the bank. They are 100% cosmetic with nothing gained. I was worried about this update for ages, but I can't see a way that Jagex could have released it any better. Those capes seem like the best update since dungeoneering came out. I'm still not a fan of divination.

I wish we had some of these updates on Rs3. I would love a massive quest that revealed 50% more of the map.

I just realized on your 99 dungeoneering picture, that Kate had the most deaths somehow. Did she have no defense at all that run?  :wtf:
