Good video. Just a note on the production quality though: it might be worth investing in a better camera, and/or correcting the lighting issues in future videos if you want to be a serious RS video maker.

I guess it's just different play styles. :PQuote from: Sean on January 23, 2014, 09:35:42 PMI played GW2 for a week or two and only got to lvl 15, went on it yesterday and they gave me lvl 20 for free because I'd been registered for one year lol.Quote from: Randy on January 23, 2014, 08:32:45 PMThere's very little grind if you play dungeons at the appropriate levels (i.e. Ascalonian Catacombs the second you hit 30/35), although admittedly that's hard with elitist speed runners everywhere demanding gear checks. It is indeed very grindy if you do the hearts, but if you explore and just do random events, it's actually pretty decent. Takes 3-4 days of moderate play to max out at level 80. The big issue imo with GW2 is a complete lack of PvE endgame - unless you just want to run Fractals over and over. And the guild support is pretty shocking, still no guild halls, still no way for guild vs guild PvP. :/Quote from: Colinwarrior on January 23, 2014, 03:07:59 AMI played GW2 for a month. Was boring. They hyped it up as no grind but the game was 100% grind. Story was super uninteresting as well.Quote from: Randy on January 22, 2014, 11:45:08 PMQuote from: Colinwarrior on January 22, 2014, 11:33:45 PMIt seems like a complete wasted opportunity to a potentially perfect multiplayer game.
Looks pretty neat. Kind of irrelevant if it's single-player. But as you said, it's still in early stages of development.
30v30 castle sieges? Horseback combat?
If this game doesn't have multi maybe it will be successful enough to spark other developers' interest in this sort of thing.
PLZ WARHORSE PLS
Yeah we can only hope. Although I don't know why this developer wouldn't implement MP technology to this game. It's like...the perfect game for it.
Maybe they lack the personnel to develop and maintain it? Lack the funding? Don't have the servers to run it on?
I agree though, the personal story was quite lacklustre.
(I've not played GW2 in months btw, due to the aforementioned lack of endgame)
So IDK how ppl level to 80 in 4 days lol!

Quote from: Randy on January 22, 2014, 11:45:08 PMIf you want large castle sieges with hundreds of players, you can get that now to an extent in Guild Wars 2. Even more so in Elder Scrolls Online, when it's released in April.Quote from: Colinwarrior on January 22, 2014, 11:33:45 PMIt seems like a complete wasted opportunity to a potentially perfect multiplayer game.

Quote from: Manacoid on January 04, 2014, 09:26:23 PMThey became more and more money hoarding once Andrew, Paul and co. began selling their shares to venture capital companies. The money from which, it would appear, has been invested in games such as MechScape (scrapped), Stellar Dawn (permanent hiatus), 8realms (scrapped), FunOrb (discontinued) and their publishing attempt with War of Legends (no game updates in almost a year). Their current endeavour with Hasbro in Transformers Universe is already massively delayed, I'm half expecting that to be scrapped or flop.
It's refreshing that someone is actually trying to do something about whats going on with Runescape.
The game community has completely diminished, the generation that played before and the generation that plays now is completltly different. Without the great community the game had years ago the game is just less appealing.
The company itself has changed from giving a decent game with great community to money hoarders. Of course a company needs money to survive but as soon as I log onto F2P I see at least 6 different ways Jagex want's someone to subscribe. It's sickening to see a subscribe button on the left of the screen. It can't be helped really.
Quote from: Tayzon_Day on December 31, 2013, 11:13:54 PMHmm I thought it was okay, I didn't really need to see a recap show given the fact that I rewatched the series fairly recently. :P
Just finished the SAO extra edition movie.
Almost 2 hours of awesomeness, mostly flashbacks but it made me remember all the epic stuff from SAO.
And the music.. MY GOD it's so good.
Quote from: Mojohaza1 on December 27, 2013, 06:42:50 PMI have an iPhone 5S and it's laggy as fuck/crashes for me as well.
it's way too fucking laggy, doesn't even work on iphone 4s.
Why the hell does a chat application need that much RAM?
it's just strings of text.
Quote from: Panda|Vulcan on December 20, 2013, 04:33:05 PMMost Asda stores now sell Hershey's and Reese's chocolate, at least in the larger ones. Pretty sure I've seen them in Sainsbury's too.
We have Mountain Dew, I just think we dont have the huge 1l bottles. Pretty sure I remember seeing Reese's around but I'm not sure since I've been to America 3 times so I could have seen them in a shop over there!
I'm pretty shit when it comes to knowing what we dont have sorry :<

WHAT THE FUCK?!
Zeth made this topic while I was at the gym.
Absolute douchebag.
I'll keep it open for the lols, but I can bloody well handle my alcohol.
None of this Asians-lacking-enzymes bullshit.
Quote from: Mami Tomoei on October 08, 2013, 08:08:50 PMI just checked and Log Horizon is up on Crunchyroll. Might give it a watch when ep 1 becomes available for free in a few days.Quote from: Tayzon_Day on October 07, 2013, 07:17:56 PMQuote from: Mami Tomoei on October 07, 2013, 04:11:48 PM
Attention!! Those who liked Sword Art Online!!
This season theres another anime just like it. Log Horizon!!!
I havent seen it personally yet, but its 2 million ppl trapped online in a game. However, Log Horizon only focuses on the 30,000 in Japan
:OOOO
MEGAHYPE
Edit: Watched the first episode, looks pretty good so far but not as good as SAO.
I don't think this will be as emotional/epic as SAO but I'm sure it will be great.
I finished it to!
Its a much lighter tone towards the show, vs SAO. The forst 2 eps of SAO are beastly, but it went downhill from there :/. I dont think this show will have the same problems as SAO, and I sorta like the supporting characters more in Log Horizon. That being said i dont like the main character.. Maybe ill grow to like him
