Her spare was online during the raid and didn't respond, but we knew she was out with her family. Checked again around midnight and it's still on? And always in W177, which is either the Big Chinchompa or Citadel world...glitch?

Clan World Discussion / Notable Old School Clans

Go. Just name and list off any, whether they're dead or not, and maybe a little background on each. Let's just say clans that were around since before wildy was removed? (10 Dec 2007)

Were all old school clans PKing based?

Clan World Discussion / WG History and Offshoot Clans
February 26, 2014, 09:04:11 AM
After talking in #oip I thought it'd be a good idea to make sort of a WG history/family tree of clans thing. A lot of members and former have come and gone to found or lead other clans, I don't know all of them myself.

I can name maybe a few...that guy Mark left to make Rune Raiders...OIP was an offshoot from WG members? I'm sure there are many others, probably a few disgruntled members that left to make their own clan, etc. A recent one is Ronin, which Nolan helped found and leads currently I believe.

share plz :)

I've noticed Josh (CleanSheets) and John (Aomiin) have been getting into flipping, and I think it would be a good idea to merch as a clan. It takes little to no effort, and if you have a good amount of gp you can make it grow.

Share merching tips to help each other out. Open to WG members as well. Maybe earn some money to transfer over to 07? Unless you guys all transferred everything over lol.

You can also discuss other moneymaking methods; sometimes we'll shout out new profitable methods when we talk. The other day Flamingfungi said he was making 7M/hour hunting Grenwalls, for example. Share guides, your own methods and specifics, lesser known methods, daily stuff (eg. buying battlestaves), and more!

Blogs / My Journey
February 23, 2014, 09:01:47 AM
Had a nice break as an Emeritus. Some interest sparked up after losing 50m and all that Ports gear, cos I wanted to get it all back after. Double xp also made me wanna play for the weekend. So yesterday I asked Mojo to change me back!

:kanye:

For some extra motivation, I'll be blogging my progress on RS here. :)

22 Feb. 2014, me and Rising get 99 herb and 99 attack, respectively. I stopped right before the 99 the night before to save it for a party.

22 Feb. 2014, banged out the other half of the 2.77M sum xp tonight. In total I spent about 30m for 96-99 summoning, and 98-99 herb. Took no more than 5 hours of pure time training, and I wasn't being efficient. :3

22 Feb. 2014. The story is Mami bet 2 on black (roulette), so I decided to bet 10 on a whim. I've never done anything else other than ouroll and free roll...and the bot ended up coming out with a 0 on green? And I won like 100 chips lol, which is equal to 10m. Still don't know how I even won.  ##

RuneScape Discussion / Solomon's Store

What auras or stuff do you guys get from it?

I have: Jack of Trades, Penance, Vampyrism, Gnome Air Teleport (before it became free ffs), and Supreme Call of the Sea (used it to 99 fishing). Post your favorites items from there in general. Today all I felt like doing was looking at cool/useful stuff to get, and I got some emotes -- Kick Sand, Tornado, Snow, Shake Hands, and Breakdance.

I also got the Musketeer outfit, and I was hoping others would get it too so we can look united when we go bossing. Only 4k loyalty points. Like how WG all got the Lionheart title. :D

edit, List of Musketeer Outfits, recolor them to gold:

RuneScape Discussion / RS3 Combat Improvements
January 24, 2014, 11:49:24 AM
http://services.runescape.com/m=news/combat-improvements-beta

No more need to spam-press abilities, special attacks coming back,

"We want to revive PvP in RuneScape, and will be starting with a collection of essential combat tweaks and rebalances. This will include changes to stun durations, incoming damage, PvP minigames and removing the global cooldown on weapon switching."

How will this affect the clan world, etc.? ##

Post if you have them?

Will be posting my screenshots later, just have to crop 50 bajillion pics. :'(

I know I was agitated that no one said they were video recording. Then I had Vio killed -- who I believe was asked to and was filming. Had no idea. :fp:

edit: Forgot to say, Bassism said he recorded both days on his Twitch stream, but I didn't see any videos on his channel, so idk.

Surprised this hasn't been talked about yet, has anyone downloaded it? How is it? I tried searching for it in the iOS App Store but it doesn't show up L. Looks like a good app for me to keep up with you guys. Or those that play RS3, at least.

Real Life Discussion / Well this is getting old...but
December 07, 2013, 07:08:25 PM
I thought this was a nice story.

Written by Frank Somerville, well-known in my area as the local tv anchor on channel 2. Found it on Facebook from a friend that shared this off the official TV page.

QuoteI very rarely post about celebrities. In general because I don't particularly care much about their lives.
But tonight I'm making an exception because I just heard a really nice story about Paul Walker.
He's the actor from "Fast and Furious" who was killed a horrible car crash.

In 2004 Walker was in a jewelry store in Santa Barbara.
Kristen and Kyle Upham were also there shopping.
Kristen says what happened that day is something she will never forget.

"It's still to this day the most generous thing anyone has ever done for me."

Kristen and Kyle were in the store looking for a wedding ring.
She says Kyle kept wanting to look at bigger rings, "and I kept saying, 'No look at the prices.'"

The ring they were looking at was $10,000. It was way too expensive for them.

As they were shopping they recognized Walker and struck up a conversation with him. Kyle told Walker that he had just returned from his first tour of duty in Iraq.

"When he found out Kyle had just come back, I remember seeing the look in his (Paul Walker's) face, it kind of transformed."

Kristen and Kyle eventually left the store without buying the ring.
But after they walked out, the store clerk called them and said they needed to come back.

Kristen says, "One of the ladies came out holding a bag and just simply said, 'Here's your ring. I think both of our mouths dropped."

Paul Walker had secretly told the store that he wanted to buy the ring for them.

The store clerk says, "He called the manager over and said, 'The ring that those people were looking at, put it on my tab.'"
He also told the store not to tell them who paid for it.

Kristen and her husband were completely blown away.

"I think after a couple of minutes of shell shock it finally sunk in and we were like, 'Well how, who bought it? She (the store clerk) just smiled at me and said it was better not to say."

After Walker's death the jewelry store clerk went public with the story. Kristen and Kyle said they always suspected that Walker bought it for them.

Now they know for sure.
Unfortunately they'll never get a chance to thank Paul Walker in person.

The Fast movie series is one of my favorite just to start. His death really touched me not only cause I enjoyed the movies, but of course because his life was cut short so suddenly...it shouldn't happen to anyone. I'm more sad about this more than a death of like Nelson Mandela (not to say that, just using him as a comparison), because a guy like Mandela lived a full life...and until age 95. I feel like Paul Walker had so much left in him. I actually didn't even know he was a philanthropist until he died.

So yeah, an RIP topic for dis guy too. Share your thoughts, memories, favorite scenes from Fast and the Furious, etc. :)

Real Life Discussion / Paranormal Experiences
October 31, 2013, 06:09:39 PM
Since it's Halloween I thought it'd be fitting to make this topic.

Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Thoughts on existence of ghosts?
I'm not religious, and I say I don't believe in ghosts, but every now and then I have an experience.
My friends always tease me for my house being haunted, because they say they always feel a presence when they're over.

Couple things...doors slamming. Some days it's easy to find a reason why doors would be slamming, because my parent's bedroom door down the hallway is right near a window. But some other times that window's been closed, and I swear it slams shut by itself sometimes. One particular time my parents had just left so I knew I was home alone, and that thing was slammed shut like someone just got in a fight. Another door that this has happened is one near my downstairs bathroom...no windows or any chance of wind near it.

I usually never sleep alone in the dark or something, and I can almost never watch a scary movie alone. Once I fell asleep in the downstairs living room in the dark...and when I woke up my head was hanging on the edge of the bed; which is explainable, I probably fidgeted myself off there of course. But when I woke up I realized my position and I jolted to a visage...it was like a flash of a face, and I felt the rush and moan of some sort of beast coming towards my face. Maybe it was a nightmare. I also woke up on and off during that slumber and was also paralyzed -- when that happens I usually try to hold my breath until my muscles react again or just go back to sleep lol. So there's that.

I also hear weird noises and shit all the time, but I've gotten used to it. Noises like the outside electrical room creaking (yet that door is rusty and really tough to open even with power). Popping noises in the walls, like old wood cracking...but my house is fairly new.

Share your experiences or even a scary story you've heard.
