I. BackgroundTroll Invasion (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/troll_invasion) was introduced on June 14th as a new Distraction and Diversion. The game is similar to the Fight Caves with a reward similar to that of Penguin Hide and Seek. To find out more about Troll Invasion and the basics please check this guide Here (http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=troll_invasion.htm). III. StrategyThe strategy for Troll Invasion is to take advantage of the Supply Table near the castle. You can use this table 5 times per wave fully restoring your health, prayer, reduced stats, and special attack bar. I personally use d claws, that gives me 10 claws special attacks per wave. Through proper use of the table and your special attacks you'll breeze through the waves. NPC(s) listed in order should be attacked. I use Deflect Melee and Turmoil the whole time.
QuoteEasy (20 waves):
1 Mountain Troll
2 Troll ranger
3 Troll ranger, mountain troll
4 Troll ranger, mountain troll x2
5 Poorly Cooked Karambwan*
6 Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
7 troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
8 Troll general
9 troll ranger, Troll general, mountain troll
10 troll ranger, Troll general x2
11 Wizard
12 Wizard, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
13 Wizard, troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
14 Troll father (and runts)
15 Troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, troll general, mountain troll
16 Troll father (and runts), Wizard, troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
17 Dynamite**, Summoner
18 Wizard, Summoner, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
19 Dynamite**, Wizard, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
20 Cliff
QuoteHard (7 waves):
1 Troll ranger x3, mountain troll x4
2 troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan x3*, mountain troll x2
3 Wizard, troll ranger x2, troll general x3, mountain troll
4 Wizard x2, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), troll general, Poorly Cooked Karambwan x2, mountain troll x2
5 Wizard, troll ranger, Troll father (and runts) x2, Poorly Cooked Karambwan x2, troll general, mountain troll x2
6 Dynamite**, Wizard, Summoner x2, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
7 Dynamite**, Wizard, Cliff, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
*Poorly Cooked Karambwan - Reduces your stats if within 1-2 squares. Is not aggressive unless attacked, I use claw specs to finish them once I've killed the most dangerous NPCs.
**Dynamite - It is absolutely VITAL that he does not kamikaze the supply table. The supply table does not re spawn after he destroys it. The prayer pots and sharks are in case he does though.
QuoteTl;Dr Version:
1 Kill Dynamite FIRST
2 Kill Wizards, Summoners, Rangers, Troll Father
3 Always use protect from melee and stat boosting prayers
4 Use supply table to restore health, prayer, special attack
5 Bring prayer pots and food in case something goes wrong
IV. Rewards130K+ experience per hour.
Experience in any skill you desire (once a month). The amount depends on your level. For example:

Btw. how long does it take to complete 7 waves?
Nice guide Joe, didn't even know this had been released.. must have missed that update.
Anyway, I assume since it's a D+D, that it can be done weekly?

Once per month George (Since they made it give massive xp I guess it needs to have a decent gap between goes), you can actually do it as often as you like, but you wan't get any bonus xp for any second/third/fourth attempt etc.

Takes about 20 minutes max.
Dude just take full bandos + claws and claw the shit out of everything.
200k xp an hour.
Yeah i was gonna say it must be decent exp?
Very nice guide though
I heard it's over 100k exp an hour. I can't really be bothered to find out though as I'm maxed lol more interested in the monthly reward
Monthly reward is nothing compared to the actual XP you get from playing it.

Not everyone needs combat exp.

Not everyone needs combat exp.
Not everyone DOESN'T need combat xp ##
Then all they really have to do is rinse and repeat the above.
So is it the fastest cmb xp per hour? If not pointless. Nice guide joe.
Its just handy to use to get like 60k xp on a skill (obviously over 90 otherwise its a waste anyway). Nice looking guide joe, add in the average times for each wave and levels could be helpful too i guess
Um, where is it?
Nice guide, never done this before so will give it a shot later.

Um, where is it?
Burthope. Games necklace now teles you there instead of the games room.
Hard
26,155 - 15 minutes
23,799 - 15 minutes
Easy
27,626 - 13 minutes
28,989 - 13 minutes
So, Hard is about ~100k/hour and Easy is about ~130k/hour. With a bonecrusher that's an additional 3k prayer experience per hour.
I did the easy version on the day of release, and then tried hard yesterday. I got combo'd like a boss on wave 7 and died :(
I would definitely say hard is more fun (albeit a bit slower), but wave 7 is a pain in the arse and you can get roflstomped quite easily if you're not careful.

Easy is faster and basically the same exp. I did hard and it was only like 500 more exp.
Nice broski.
