Rene

1. What is your current Runescape username, and what are your past usernames if any?
Renegade3540 - > Renikins - > Rehnay (current)

2. Tell us about your RuneScape account and history (e.g. when you started, what your RSN means, favourite activities etc.):
I started playing Runescape way back in 2004ish, I've been around at least since christmas that year. I started clanning around 2005, a couple of months before the first installment of Descendant Guardians opened. My first rsn was based on the show 'Renegade' which aired and I watched around the time I started playing RS, the numbers are random. The second name is a nickname a friend whom I know from a community forum gave to me. After Samurai JM hurt my feelings and also because it became the name I started to use as a game name if Rene was taken I swapped to Rehnay, which is basically the way you pronounce Rene. Right now in runescape my favourite activities are probably Slayer and Questing.

3. Tell us about yourself (Name (if you are comfortable), gender, age, country, hobbies, music, talents, likes and dislikes):
My first name is Niels, I'm from Belgium and 18 years old. I'm currently in my last year of high school studying IT Management. Right now my most prominent hobby is probably travelling and hanging out with friends/partying. I've mostly stopped no life gaming and try to do it more casually now. I like long walks across the beach ## and dislike traffic jams when you're trying to get to school on time. :@ (even though I wouldn't have the problem if I woke up 10 minutes earlier)

4. How did you hear about us and what makes you want to join WG or DG? Also, which of these two clans are you applying for?
I heard about DG a long time ago by reading about it in a WG recruitment topic. Since I had wanted to join WG a long time ago this was the perfect opportunity for me and I waited for the junior clan to open.

The reason I wish to joing WG is because of the community and having a group of people to talk to while playing. It's mostly for the community aspect other than anything. Though once I've experienced it again I'm pretty sure I would be excited for the PVP aspect as well.

5. If you have been in other clans before, what clans were they and what was your involvement with them?
Oh boy, this has been a while.

I haven't been involved with clanning for almost 2 years now I believe. So sorry if I miss clans, I'm just naming the most prominent ones.

Saradomin's Chosen/Mmapkers - First clan and it was a forum clan (not an official one), I loved the arpkers aspect of it. It was more community based than anything. Disbanded

Descendant Guardians - I wanted to get into WG though as everyone knows, stuff happened with the first DG. The second DG was disbanded for inactivity issues/lack of interest iirc.

Wilderness Guardians - I got put into WG twice after DG disbanded, after which I recall . Other than that I've joined it several times and either left because of disagreeing with ideas/inactivity. Also I've left it because of pure stupidity on my part.

Heroes of Future - I had a lot of good experiences in this clan, I joined them to have a clan while I trained up for WG again. I ended up leaving because of the reopening of DG. Not long after that I rejoined and then when I hit a certain cmb level I rejoined WG. The third time I rejoined there were issues with a leadership swap. I sided with a different side and I left alongside others.

Blasphemy - I met a lot of people with whom I organised stuff later on. This came from my interest in joining a smaller clan. I left because the leader decided to put the clan in a hibernation period.

Clanxiety/Excelsis/Hades - A chain series of clans run by roughly the same people (of which I was a part of, we met each other in Blasphemy) I helped create Clanxiety and Excelsis and was their warlord. I left hades after some disputes with certain members. I rejoined later on when those members had left / gotten kicked and stayed until hades disbanded.

I know I'm missing some clans and sorry about that, but these are the main ones that come to mind right now.

6. Have you read, understood and agree to abide by the rules of this clan?
Yes, I do.

Hello Rene. I look forward to chatting more with you in IRC/in-game. You have very good English for someone who speaks it as a second language. If it is, in fact, your second language.

Anyways, I'm General Pointless in IRC. See you around, and goodluck.

Thanks!

English isn't my first language but yeah, I picked it up through gaming and watching English cartoons with dutch subtitles while I was younger. Since I use it on a daily basis I generally manage to speak/write it to a decent standard.
