Join the Clan / Re: RealAnon's Introduction
January 13, 2012, 08:07:16 PM
Realanon and James don't get on but don't look at one side of the story from either of them.
I don't know how dedicated Realanon is to joining the clan but he seems like he wants to join for the right reasons to me, atleast give him a chance.

I don't think a disagreement between a possible new member and an ex-member (that from what I remember doesn't have much to do with the clan) should stop this new person from joining.

Zemus run a full Malwarebytes scan in both safe and normal Windows mode.

If that doesn't work you might want to check this out:

Wow that's really odd, I dreamt yesterday about an updated CSS and now I find out that it's a reality.

I can't wait for this, CSS is by far the greatest fps for me so with 2011 graphics and gameplay I reckon this will be a massive hit.

Automotive designer, it's a shame I didn't learn all the software required when I was younger, I can't be arsed now.

I've never seen the point in an account that's solely for Pking, I suggest making it a normal account. Also, why would you make a range tank over maxed for PvM?

Do what Mark said first though.

Judging from the top comment I imagine it's more funny to Korean people.

This is the top comment by the way:
"This is so relevant, since im korean and my parents run a store together, and whenever a dark little kid comes in, they tell me to follow them around and they talk shit about them to me in korean xD"

Yeah they offer international shipping, and they accept Paypal and Credit cards, for the monitor this looks very cheap considering it's 1920x1080 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-019-PH
Can't really find reviews on it though so it would be a little bit of a risk.

I think I can set up a Scan basket for you to just click and buy, I'll take a look if they ship to Norway.

Oh and I can save you some money on the OS, my friend has a website selling Microsoft software I'm sure I could get it you for cheap or even free.

Edit: Scan don't but OCUK do, you'd have to find each product yourself though.

It doesn't include a screen or keyboard and mouse, a keyboard and mouse you could find for like £20 and for the monitor I'd suggest the Dell U2311h, you could get a cheap monitor off ebay to last you until you can afford a nice one like the Dell though.

The only main difference now between 32bit and 64bit is the maximum ram, drivers aren't an issue anymore and you'll find a lot of the Adobe suite requires 64 bit now. Go for the 64bit.

Edit: And no it's not difficult, there's so many guides about now. If you'd like a little more help with it and you own a webcam, I could instruct you from just seeing the camera feed.

That's really nice to know, I love this Lian Li case but it would sound the exact same if it wasn't in a case at all.

The R3 seems like the perfect case, I just spent loads on these 120mm noctua fans and it saddens me to see 140mm is becoming the standard size on high end cases. I know the R3 can fit both so that's brilliant + I'll be saving £80 on having it over the 700D and an extra £30 for the soundproofing.

Thanks for making my decision :P.

Yeah I've seen it fit in a DH-14, little bit off topic but when you put the side of the case on does the sound go noticeably quieter? I was going to go for a Corsair 700d but the R3 seems perfect for me with the soundproofing.

I'm working on a silent pc right now, it's one hell of a costly thing to do. I guess it depends on how much noise you can tolerate.

Also remember if you want suggestions from me you'd have to build it yourself, it's super easy but people are often hesitant to try it.

Edit: For example here is the core of a quiet pc:

410.37 GBP    =   1,039.03 BRL

And then you have the graphics card to worry about, this is something I'm still stuck at in my journey to a silent pc.

Yeah I'd say get the cooler JC recommended and try and find some money for that PSU, I think that would be a good compromise.

Zurvivorman I'm sure me or JC could help you out with parts if you're looking to build it yourself (the best and for me the only option), I guess it comes down to if you want Intel or AMD. I've never done an Intel build so I wouldn't be able to help you out there.

I agree with not buying the Phenom II yet, they've announced that bulldozer will be shipped next month so yeah.

The power supply is something I would spend more on, it's arguably the most important component of a build and it's something that is going to last through many builds.

The Thermaltake frio is a great cooler, it is a little expensive but it's the only thing I have had a good experience with, even coming from a £250 custom WC loop. I mean checks the reviews out for the thing, it's one hell of a budget cooler.

Finally, I sort of agree with you about the 955 but I'm sure Vephy won't be looking to overclock for some time which is why I suggested the 965.

Going to close this for a while, nobody seems interested anymore and I just got my first BSOD in 3 years for whatever reason (java maybe?).
