So IRC doesn't not work at my uni for some reason. I think that they block the ports or something.
This is the message I get.

If anyone knows how to get round this it will help alot.
That's the message I get when my net cuts out and I havn't noticed. I'm sure its not that considering you posted it here lolz.
Try using a proxy and going through other sites like qwebirc/mibbit etc?
I get that @ school sometimes. I here that the school's wireless sends out wifi signals at an inconstant rate, which purpose is to scramble with installations and updates that people try to do.
Pretty Useless if you ask me :S
Happens to loads of people you need the admins not us sadly
