I am sorry but I am bitter, I haven't bought an AAA game other than Skyrim in 3+ years because of crap like this, and this is coming from someone who played Diablo 1 and 2 obsessively for years and have been looking forward to Diablo 3 for a decade.

Level 32 Barbarian, finished on normal mostly solo minus a few bosses I couldn't figure out.
And it's really difficult to take down far casting opponents as a low level Barbarian :(

I haven't tried Multiplayer yet but I have watched "Force" on Youtube play it for 8 hours (well I didn't watch all 8 hours) & it's just basically 3-4 other guys joining you in the fight that you were going to do by yourself.

i'm the biggest diablo fan there is...been playing it since diablo 1 came out. But now i don't know if my laptop is good enough for it :/ all i have is a shitty dual core 2.1....
I've got an Intel i3, 2.1 dual core processor, and integrated graphics and my laptop runs it alright.
Gotta say, while I love the Gameplay so far (only up to Act III) I think Blizzard is kinda shit.
They've clearly been pretty cheap on the behind the scenes infrastructure, so while there's "global play" I still can't play on Euro servers while the US ones are down..... Which they were for 8 fucking hours yesterday.... What kind of IT company is happy when their 'product' is unuseable for a third of the day?
And of course, because of their shitty DRM I can't play single player while the servers are down :fp:

Blizzard has always been notoriously bad at customer support. They really don't care what the players want.
The biggest complaint I have about the game is also the DRM/lack of offline mode. What am I supposed to do when the servers are down or my internet is slow? Very poorly thought out...

Level 59 DH. I don't even want to go through what i went through with the digital download, but yeah, was a few days behind everyone else. If you got mark of death, definetly chuck it on your bars. You won't need vault for him, instead use smoke screen + the 60% movement passive bonus, unless you have the rune. He will always go left punch, right punch, both hands. As soon as you see the start of that combo you can run to the other side of the stage leaving you ample time to get some dps out. When he goes to the phase with all the green on the floor, try not to run around like a mad man, just be calm and stick to around 3 spaces and rotate back and forth avoiding the explosions as they will disappear fairly quickly. If you have the elemental arrow, definetly switch over to that, from memory it'll hit belial more than once since his body is so large.
If you continue to have trouble, just resort to a public game. To be honest, Belial with more than 1 person is just a matter of avoiding shit then ressing eachother until his dead. I've personally ressed someone around 10 times in that 1 fight.
p.s. As you can see to the right of you near the end of the stage, i usually position myself there during the aoe phase and just slowly move myself around that area.
EDIT: I'm definetly a newfag to diablo, but i'll tell you this, I'm far better than the majority of the players that I've played with so far (some being ex-diablo players as well), some of the shit that people die to is ridiculous, I usually give them the benefit of the doubt, but when it happens 6 times in a row, they've got some problems. Oh i'm not referring to you Kyle and the Belial, I died to Belial many times on my first go, just gotta memorize his combos and you'll be fine. His one of the more difficult bosses, just due to the fact that the majority of his hits are 1 shot. Doesn't hurt to AH some items too (vitality is ridiculously OP in normal as it prevents alot of the 1 shot abilities, upgrades help so much i can't stress enough. Went from 8k damage to 20k damage after spending 1 session at the AH.

In the same boat as you at the moment Eregion, except i haven't even bothered trying Act 2 because I feel the need to get my gear to a certain point before continuing anyways.
Also got my first legendary... it was a quiver.. and it is a beast and level 60, only useless affix on it is strength. I'll upload a pic later when i got more stuff to show :3 If i am ever to replace it, from what i'm guessing will have to be a perfectly rolled quiver now i'll be able to sell this one for a few mill, so i'm fairly happy ^.^

Either farm up to skele king, or up to Butcher. The reason I've chosen to barely farm up to butcher is due to his mechanics causing me to change my builds (And lose NV in the process) from super duper awesome DPS kiting build, to lay down explosive traps and stand my distance :<
But i mean like that'll only give you so much gear. The reason there's so much better gear on AH is due to people abusing chests and waypoints in Act 4 and Pony Level.

1 BS plan too make a 2h barb weapon, lvl 23
1 Witch doctor head, lvl 26
and 1 that I threw away cuz it was horrible xD
Just completed act 1 on Hell :) The Butcher was hard as fuck cuz Tayzon sucked donkeynuts at dodging his attacks for like an hour.
I play wizard and he plays dh.
My gear build is pretty fucked up for a wizard imo. Got 29k health and like 1,9k damage at lvl 54 cuz we have no tank, so we both have to build lots of vitality.

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know where you can see your records for shit like objects destroyed, people killed in one hit, killing sprees etc? It's kinda cool to see them when you get them, but it'd be useful to check what they are at a later point :(
Oh yeah, level 50 DH now.... and I'm starting to get to the point now where I can get a little bit (50k+) for some of the weps I'm selling on the Auction house which is sweet, Got my second legendary which was equally as shit as the first one (a 70 DPS dagger with pretty crap magic stats), but someone paid over 50k for it :3
Wish I could do something with all the gems I have, but Blizzard are derps so you have to get to hell before you can get tomes so I can level up my Artisans....

So Inferno got nerfed, RMAH is out & it's crap.
I don't know if it's just me or is it suddenly really boring, even before all the updates I was running through Act II Inferno & it was just...terribly dull.
Yeah I've got a bit bored of D3 already, but I did get at least 40 Hours of play time in before I needed a break so that's probaby not so bad.
Haven't even looked at what they improved at the latest updates, I've gone back to Battlefield 3 :3
