Came back to RS after a  break... had a sudden urge to kill nex, along comes Icey.
We get a Virtus wand drop first kill back (That was his kill >.>)...

Supposedly it was really rare... I had no idea what it was when I got it :P

I've been at this for a while, but yeah quite an achievement, solo'd nex.
Dual Drys and Chaotic Crossbow for weapons. Died enough times trying to learn it, lost 50% on malevolent, overall lost about 10-15mil in supplies.
I try not to keep track, always better to look forwards. ^.^

Been killing this spider since it came out... got four rares in the first couple of weeks, drop rate got nerfed... after a couple of months finally got the top piece.

Overview

Araxxor is a level 2500, solo/duo boss only. It's considerably harder duoing it, I've yet to confirm that. The process involves dropping Araxxor's health to very low over 3 initial stages. Then as you get close to killing him, another spider Araxxi level 3000, finishes him off and then battle commences to fourth stage with her.

The game mechanics change every day and also change depending on which routes you take inside the lair, but the set up and way to approach this boss is very similar. I will be updating this guide as I come to each different mechanic.

Set up
It is recommended to range this boss. Hence I will put up my set up which you can sub for better slots etc.

   This is my set up, you can replace the zaryte for ascensions, they tend to be better. Superior Lotus armour if you have access to can be of great help to learning to kill this boss. However pernix is better in the long run for damage over time. You defo need any old shield, for  a few of the defence abilities. Penance best aura for this, then supreme reverance, simply cause thinking about prayer can get you koed.

Inventory and BOB (I use yak, over time you'll find the better you get at it the less food you really need, but always safe to take more)

27 sara brew flasks; 23 rocktails; 4 restore flasks ( don't need this much if you have penance); Overload flask; Prayer Renewal Flask and Antipoison++ Flask.
Primarily you want more brews for the first three phases, try and use brews throughout the whole kill if you can, rocktails really are back up for when things get sticky.

Getting there...
If you have 92 agility I believe you take red path, if not you have to take blue path. Quickest way to this area is ectophial, don't loose this! Your gravestone can get attacked by an acid spider, it will degrade VERY FAST! I have a 15 minute gravestone, get a good gravestone is recommended.

About my RuneScape Account and History: Ooh I've had my account for a long time, wasn't really clan based just played the game, watched my cousin play it and was interested. Then found I just liked killing monsters and training 99s, eventually found I just loved pvm. Done some clan warring with this clan. My original rsn delementor came about me watching Harry Potter almost a decade back now was thinking of deleting something and dementors put it together there's my rsn. It's been Lord Himself for a long time now though. Pretty much it favourite activities...Bossing! :D
My past/current clans/teams are: Was part of Wilderness Guardians, that being my one and only main clan, recently joined UWM, and just hanging around in random clans for the sake of it.
About me: I'm a 19 year old male from UK. The names Amshan. Hobbies well I like playing the piano and drawing and stuff, going to the gym. Listen to all kinds of music, depends on my mood really. I dislike the fact humans fight and kill each other over stupid stuff and find it difficult to just smile and get along, would really make life much easier :3 I just like well... lying back and staring at the clouds passing by in the sky... hmm yeah that kind of stuff :)

I heard about WG through: Cousin years back, he was part of this clan.

Started about 7 years ago, didn't do much until the last 2 years was mainly f2p, i did alot pvm then joined WG for some pking. Favourite activities well bossing don't understand much in the eoc but hopefully i'll get to grips with it.

Only been in WG and the wars and raids you lot have been to in the last year or so.

Abs introduced me to Runescape about 4 years ago and I enjoyed it then I played it on & off, my rsname is currently "Lord Himself" - I chose it recently because it looks kinda cool lol. I enjoy Slayer a lot, I'm aiming for 99 in it one day hopefully. I also enjoy Stealing creation, clans wars & lots of PvM such as Bandos & Armadyl. I also do quite a bit of dungeoneering on the side now & then.
