RuneScape Discussion / Re: 2006scape
December 07, 2012, 01:44:12 AM
It takes long to perfect. It takes money for servers and much better than average stabilization. I tested it to prove legitimacy in their Pre-Alpha phase. They regularly update their website with new photos containing new content added. They've added all worlds, and finished all skills. They only have a few things to work on before releasing the Beta, which means that they will be finished with content and they will be aiming to perfect bugs.

As for the server stabilization in the coming years, their plan is to have an optional donator service that allows you to get perks such as extra bank space, donator only worlds, and an optional 317 gameframe.

As for leveling up, it is 1x.

RuneScape Discussion / 2006scape

I was just wondering if anybody was planning to play this game. Private testing has started so it shouldn't be too long until it is released.
Regardless, it would be a cool idea if the pvp world could be reincarnated to its former glory days by joining 2006scape.

The man is your father. You are the dog.

In reality, you have traveled with your father in his pick-up truck as he would frantically look for work. He looked far and wide with no luck. He gets in deep with the sharks after losing money gambling. They knocked him unconscious, beat him up, drugged him, and left him alive in the middle of the amazon rainforest. He lost hope of finding you and eventually adapted into a new lifestyle in a deserted part of Brazil that just so happened to be filled with 70's era hipsters.

You on the other hand are praised so highly by drug warlords for creating crystal methylamine at a 99.1% purity rate, that you are sent to Brazil to manufacture more to the population, while creating a better profit for your Drug overlords. The main distributers of the crystal meth are the 70's hipsters your father associates himself with. You had found your father in the meth lab that one day. Your father persuaded you to get out, and you had accepted his offer.

You stopped working for your Drug overlords, so they decide to kill you to tie up loose ends. You and your father escape and they cannot find you. You went into hiding, and at times your father would say "right on" whenever he would answer a correct answer at Jeopardy.

I heard a couple rumors.

First one is that they will flat out name it "XboX".

Second one is that it will have a touch screen controller resembling the Wii U's.

He didn't do enough to have warranted my vote. The debt is still climbing, and the fiscal cliff is coming. He needs to reduce spending, and do it now.

You're Canadian.
Also, I'm frankly quite astounded that so many Americans were uneducated enough to fall in love with Romney.
The rest of the world sees it:

And had America been stupid enough to elect Romney, they honestly deserved the shitstorm headed their way.

Now, I can't change your mind over the internet Rachel, as you've been fed a lifetime of misinformation, but I'm happy that you got the man you didn't vote for (I'm assuming). Won't bother trying to fight for a lost cause in persuading you.

America has been almost split into a two-party system for a while. Conservatives were not only afraid of all this major reform, but Liberals were scared of major rollback in legislation. What the Romney supporters really come down to is having decreasing government and cap a lot of the government subsidies that are deemed towards the poor. Also, whether the world see's a clear winner, old ways are hard to change. Beliefs of the way government should work typically comes from your parents, and ideologies that may seem "outdated" in a rapidly changing world along with a different economy that both Conservatives and Liberals may not quite understand but fall victim to ignorant assumptions on what must be done.

Also, Republicans don't like Obama's track record, but he was just getting the U.S. out of a recession. As for me, I'm happy Obama won as he is the lesser of the two evils.
