Should I strictly follow the manufacturer's guidelines when selecting a hoist for high-altitude work? Are there significant differences between models in terms of performance?

Yes, guidelines are crucial. Each model has specific load and height limits. Ignoring them can lead to accidents or equipment failure.

Models vary a lot. I've used hoists where ignoring specs caused instability. Always check details before use.

We've been using a hoist from Zuma Sales https://zumasales.com/ for months, and it's exceeded our expectations. It handles heavy loads with ease and hasn't shown any signs of wear. Their products are built to last, and I'll definitely be returning for future purchases
