So it seems that many internet providers are blocking popular torrent sites, the recent one being Kat.ph.
There is however a way to get around this by going to http://come.in (http://come.in) and selecting the torrent site you wish to use. It may take a while to load but if it comes up 'Bad Gateway' just refresh.
Virgin just blocked kat for me, cheers dude!
