Half marathon (en route to full marathon - 1:36) (13.1 miles bro!)

Well, cross country 5k is like 18 minutes for the good guys.  lol

My personal thing is that I am trying to get up the number of miles I walk in a day for now.  I have done six.  I'm going to join the gym I think for winter and work at the bike and treadmill next.  At least that is what I think I might do.

Do run/walks! eventually you'll be running that 6 miles if you keep practicing

OH WAIT: In high school we did a beep test thing where you run across the gym and then it beeps and you run back - and you count the ammount of times you can do it.. If this is the same thing 2+ years ago I got 106
Title: Re: Fitness Records
Post by: Colinwarrior on September 19, 2011, 06:45:09 PM
Hmm, I'll post the ones that I know (because they're part of the Army fitness test, lol)

Consecutive push-ups: 80

Consecutive sit-ups: 75

Consecutive chin-ups/pull-ups: 25 (they were chin-ups)

1-mile run: Well I do 2 miles in 13 minutes usually, and I can do the first mile faster than the second obviously, so I'm gonna say 6 minutes.

Wuts a beep test?  :@

Only records I know are my 16 year old athletics ones. I used to compete at county level.

100m - 11.3s
Triple Jump - 14.36m
High Jump - 1.53m

All I can remember - although I know I was best at 400m...

I'm re-timing myself in 100m in a few weeks if I get a nice weekend of weather, I'm much faster nowadays and am curious to know.
I also have a beep test with football coming up in a few weeks, and so I will update that then.

WTF HOW

HEAVIEST DEADLIFT:

His Lordship - 150kg (330lb)

HEAVIEST SQUAT:

His Lordship - 200kg (440lb)

Also, mine:

Heaviest Squat - 122.5kg (>Twice Bodyweight at the time)
Heaviest Deadlift - 152.5kg (>2.5x Bodyweight)
Heaviest Pullup (Bodyweight + 26kg (Just less than half bodyweight) Dumbbell) x 3
Most Chin Ups - 19, Pullups - 15
Pressups - 104 (after doing 100 press up challenge a few years ago, not sure now)
Situps - 146
Fastest 1 mile 6 minutes dead.

If you're posting a weightlifting record, put it in proportion to your bodyweight.  A 150kg squat is nothing if you weigh 150kg lolz.

Consecutive sit ups: 150 (Mixing it up with crunches, V-Sits etc and twist sit ups)
Fastest mile: 6 minutes 20 seconds

Other than that at our clubs we sometimes have some marathon sessions.

24-hour spar-a-thon. - I was present for about 5 hours

Basically we had 2 areas up sparring for 24 hours straight, not sure how many people joined in but it was good fun.

Kick-a-thon - Our adult class obtained ~11500 kicks during a class.

I'm naturally a big person. In High School I played (American) football. We used to compete against one another to see who could lift the most. I wasn't always the best but the few things I was exceptional at were squats, dead lifts, and bench presses. I'm not sure if I could do them anymore because it's been years since I was actually in great physical shape, but I'll share them anyway.

My highest ever bench press was 290lbs.
My highest ever squat was 450lbs.
And my best dead lift (which fucked my arms up for a few days) was around 600lbs.

No disrespect to your lordship but if your back isn't injured and your squat is higher than your deadlift then there is no way you're going deep enough on your squats.

A few things:

1. Updated
2. Mark is forever excluded from being in the record
3. Coach, I get that sentiment a lot. My squats are the whole way, and I have a personal trainer witness me for all my heaviest lifts. I don't know why my squats are better than my deadlifts.

At least in massachusetts, you're in northern america - summer here is like 80 but 100% humidity, go elsewhere for higher temperatures haha

Gonna update my mile time real quick; was just screwing around at a school event and got 5:08. Could totally tap in under 5, I'm gonna try it soon.

Also; longest bike ride: 53 miles

EDIT: Mission accomplished: Fastest mile: 4:53.8!

Bench (1 rep max): 125 Lb
40-yard time: 4.9 seconds
deadlift (1 rep max): 245 Lb
1 mile: 5:57 synthetic track on racing flats
longest consecutive run: 13.1 (half-marathon)
consecutive situps (one minute): 67
consecutive pushups (military width): 45

i have more records from my one season of football - might edit again later. all of my weightlifting was trained to about those numbers in 3 months. track records were recorded in races, and that half marathon was run outside my house.

Mines are still the same. This is not good. 6 months later...

Wow, this is awesome! I'll post some of my current records and see if I can't do some of the other ones to get some numbers out there.
Max bench = 305 pounds
Max push ups with out stopping = 54
Max Squat = 365 pounds
40 yard dash= 4.7 seconds
100 meter sprint= 11.2
Fastest mile= 5:50

I'm pretty quick, but I'm also light. I'm 5'11 and 180 pounds @ 18 years old. Definitely need to get my lower body strength higher though, big goal for me. It'd help get my out of the hole on my 40 yard dash and make me a lot quicker on my 100 meter. I absolutely suck at running any distance past a mile though, can't stand it! I'm a sprinter.

120kg bench
250kg deadlift
200kg squat

Bench isn't up to scratch!
Title: Re: Fitness Records
Post by: His Lordship on February 28, 2013, 09:03:51 PM
God damn that deadlift though!
Fucking hell I don't know how you trained it to get that high.
Title: Re: Fitness Records
Post by: Paul on February 28, 2013, 09:11:14 PM
I deadlift 5-8 sets of 80 or 90% effort doubles once a week.

I squat twice a week, one session heavy doubles like above, the other 3-5 rep at 65-75%range.

I don't bench in strongman so it's not a big deal, my overhead is only 5kg off my bench PB lol. I'm slowly making the transition into powerlifting though so I've started benching twice a week too. Before, I literally just did it as an accessory to overhead pressing lol.

Here's the deadlift, quite recent too:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50hhUbG3BXI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50hhUbG3BXI)

Since lost about 2-3kg bodyweight from that but still look about the same.

Pull Ups: 28 (2 minutes after i did the push ups)
