Title: java vs runescape
Post by: uncledenn1s on March 15, 2015, 08:55:49 PM
hey was just asking if you could help me with a problem.

for the longest time i have been denying updateing java and just the other day i decided to actually update to the newest version.

atm i have version 8 update 40 (build 1.8.0_40-b25).. dont know what the parentheses means but i thought id need to put that in there anyways.

since this update whenever i go onto rs game. i am able to log in. but when im loading the screen to the game it doees two different things. one. it will go to a whitecreen, and freeze. or two i will see the legacy main screen. but where i normally see my figure and the plain, its like my screen is cracked.. its black on the outsides andd a mix of colors on the inside.

was just wondering if i can just change something in my java cuntrol panal or somthing.
i have tried removing java and redownloading the newest version.

thanks, Denn1s

There's an issue with the latest version, Jagex is working on a fix. You'll need to roll back to the previous version.

Uninstall your current version and install the previous version instead.

Edit: here's a link (http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=90223), just click it to start the DL.
