On the 23rd of February 2013 Ancient Fury re-opened with the introduction of Old School Runescape. Right from the off we kept the same ethos we always had, we strove to be the most active and have the best quality which we achieved with many memorable moments, fights and memes coming along the way.
Sadly the time has come for our story to end. Not out of necessity, not out of lack of dedication (even when writing this topic we have 71 on Ts) but it is time, it might be hard to explain but the feeling of closing has been in the zeitgeist and us officials have decided its the right time.
I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been in AF, whether you were here for 1 month or 10 years. Each and every one of you has made an amazing community and made being in AF so enjoyable.
It's never good to see clans closing, especially larger ones like AF.
Any particular reason for their closing down? Seems really vague to me.

I think there is a general consensus within AF that the current game and clan world state is boring and therefore it's not worth their effort to keep a clan running.

no lol, AF were the biggest GMT based P2P Clan on OSRS. They were a main rival of RoT since OSRS was created and they won all P2P Jagex Cups in 2014.

I was in them pre rs-3 but haven't really checked on them since. Kinda sad loved pking with them before always had people to go in max gear.
Just like that the Top clans get bigger and sponge up all those juicy recruits :P

Maybe make a topic and start listing the clans that are closing? It would be nice to just have a topic to see them all in one place since I don't really go on zybez. If its to much effort don't worry about it. But never heard of them even back in oldschool so I wish there now ex-members the best. Join wg.
