Title: Post your Setup/Computer
Post by: PeaKay on February 11, 2013, 06:41:36 PM
I'm a big fan of computers and I'm always really interested in what others are using to play their games and do whatever on! So in this thread I think it would be interesting if everyone posted their PC specs (those that they know, don't sweat it) and any pics if they like their desk setup and such.

I'll go first  ^.^

HP Pavilion dv7-4272us

2.00GHz AMD Phenom II P860 Triple Core
4GB DDR3
750GB 7200RPM HD with 8GB NAND (SSD Hybrid)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6370 s
17.3"

It does the job, but I'm looking to switch to something a bit smaller this summer (something with a 15.6" screen that doesn't weight 8.2 lbs). It has the crappiest touchpad in the world so I use a Logitech M325 mouse and a CMStorm QuickFire Rapid (with Cherry MX Reds) keyboard because CLACKCLACKCLACK.

Why is your subwoofer on your desk?

I live on the second floor so I keep it on my desk so it's not directly on the ground. Just being mindful of the people who live below me.

It was really a budget build, I went for around the £500 mark

The pc itself:
Case - £80
MB - £70
CPU - £140
GPU - £40*
PSU - £80
Total - £410

plus another £80 per monitor. * I originally wanted a GTX 970 which would be around £150, but the GT 710 can handle 3 monitors and is still more than enough for stuff like OSRS.

My other stuff like keyboard/mouse/speakers I buy off ebay so prices vary.
