Yumyum, that happened to me when i was starting my blog, but i would recomment u either save it every few mins or start it in notepad first then copy and past it, just for you dont have to worry about that happening again.

Sorry yumyum i know how that sucks

Yeah it happened to me about 3 times when I made the SG PvM counter, took me about 4 hours to make one post, and sometimes for whatever reason it just stops saving drafts.

I'd recommend for any large posts you always copy (ctrl+c) the entire post before previewing.

Dude something like this has happened to me at least 3 times in the past, and not even on WG forums. I've spent hours making a post and then it just K0s everything I wrote, then I can't think of what I wrote. It's a fucking horrible feeling.

Even pre cloudflare I used to save things (cntrl c) just incase I had a panda moment.

Pressing the back button often does wonders. Will post a proper response when I'm home on Monday.

I've been doing larger posts in word then cut and paste them to the forums so the time doesn't expire and I have a copy for back up.
It's saved me a few times.

For now, cloudflare stays.

I suggest Textarea Cache for Firefox - it will save everything you enter into a text box for you. Saved my butt a few times.

Also, the forums save large posts as drafts sometimes.
Profile -> Profile Info -> Show Posts -> Drafts

pressing back button has worked every time for me (on Chrome), it always submits the post or topic once I've pressed it.

its just occurred to me that some of you may be pressing back while the cloudflare page is still open. I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but let the next page load THEN press back and it nearly always works for me.

Yum yum. The threat of the forums being ddosed is pretty high. It takes away the ability to coordinate community events and raids. Everyone has to deal with it. I say its a great investment and it should stay.its really not that bad tbh

I've about had it with this. Not only do I have issues with this personally, but it's been causing problems for a lot of SG applicants, therefore probably WG applicants as well.

It takes about 5 minutes to load the forums on my phone, just waiting for CloudFlare's loading wheel to spin.

Today, an in-game recruit applying for SG couldn't retrieve her application after I got her off Scape to write it. Well funny I'm the one who suggested CloudFlare, but it's getting fucking annoying. We really needed it then, do we still now? :/

There is a cloudflare warning at the bottom of the app form. Originally I had forgotten to add the second line to the SG app, but the first line was always there: http://puu.sh/5kFsA.png (http://puu.sh/5kFsA.png)
I've added the second line now.

Robbie is the one who can make the call about removing it.

Also my phone loads it quite quickly (10 secs or less usually), iphone 4s

(04:25:15) <Mojohaza1> o ye, is there still a need for cloudflare?
(04:26:04) <robbiethe1st> Probably not
(04:26:19) <robbiethe1st> Remind me during the week, when I'm at my other computer
(04:26:23) <Mojohaza1> ok

So Al, what would YOU rather have?

A. Cloudflare
B. No forums

Let me know.

Well, if WG's under serious threat of being Ddos'ed, keep Cloudflare.
If not, remove it until it's needed.

Robbie has now set Cloudflare to medium, it was on strict before, idk what impact that has but we'll see.
