OSRS INTRODUCTION: Runefish

My RuneScape Name: Runefish
My Previous RSNs: Runesfish
Squelchyfish

Joining for PvP events: Yes
My Combat Level: 85
My Stats:

About my RuneScape Account and History: Hello old friends, it is me, the Squelchyfish - and I return to you at the turn of the tide.

I never really left WG however quit runescape entirely when it was tainted with Summoning - and the rest that came thereafter. My commitments IRL meant that I was away from the internet for some time but I have been pleasantly surprised that the original RS2 has been reinstated and have been enjoying trying to obtain a quest cape, it is only now that I have hit 85 with two left to go!

Originally my RSN those years ago was Squelchyfish, yes, Squelchyfish, that is what they used to call me. I spent my time fishing. Runefish sounds a lot nice, and of course times have changed. Do not take me for the same Squelchyfish who chundered on Keanu and secretly gave himself IRC permissions, although I hope these events have been left in the past.

I now like doing a bit of CMB related stuff as it is evident this is the most valuable way of spending your time.

My past clans/teams and any current teams: Monkey Madness in 2005, a pure clan I found when I first played runescape, not that I knew what a pure was, I used to go along with them with tinderboxes and hatchets in my inventory to cook food on our adventures, and a longbow because it sounded cooler. I soon outleveled them and saw the error of my ways.

The Lost Souls of Kandarin, I started my own ARPK clan as I liked the idea, it had about 30 members, there are still embarrasing videos about on youtube. I used to model it off WG, we were talking about them one day in level 30 wilderness when we actually ran into them and all perished.

Then finally WG - in reality the only serious and long term clan I have ever been in. I was quite active a long time ago but I am sure many people back then have moved on and left.

About me: My name is Tom, i'm 23, I live in the UK. I spent a year studying film production at Staffordshire University until I decided i'd rather be doing something than recording it. I left University and applied to be a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy. I got my commission from Dartmouth and spent two years in the Navy, I was on the deck of HMS Illustrious as she came in for the last time, spent some time on HMS Ocean but my main ship was HMS Northumberland. I have recently left the Navy to start my own business, a cider company in Gloucestershire: www.Beardandsabre.co.uk

I enjoy History, Science, Photography, Computer Construction, Animals/Nature and brewing/cidermaking.

I heard about WG through: Through past membership
I want to join because: I used to be the elite thing / the best one of the guardians before I left, then became emeritus but acted like a little bit of a twat for a while which a few may still remember, however that was many, many, moons ago.

I'm looking to get into a little bit of group pking, like the old days. - if that sort of thing still exisits. Clan wars in the wilderness, full rune etc, - not too fussed about all the new arena stuff. The old ways are the best.

Regarding the IRC, I am: Registered (mIRC or other client user)
Regarding TeamSpeak 3, I have: Installed

Regarding future events which may impact my activity: I work 7-midnight on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to suplement the cider income.

Two years ago I gave up gaming as I joined the Royal Navy, I was off the grid for a little bit but saw some amazing things and went to amazing places. If I stayed any longer i'd owe the Navy 5 years "return of service" where I wouldn't be able to leave unless I bought my way out. Faced with this wall (and not wanting to spend 5 years of my youth stuck below decks on a grey hulk) I decided to leave and start a limited liability company. I like leadership, management, business, adventure, things that you can get in the Navy but in reality you are a small cog in a big machine. Wars nowadays are fought through commerce, battles are in the boardrooms. It's freedom.

We secured a £25,000 loan with a dissertation-like 10,000 word business plan, in my opinion it is one of the best out there - completely overdone, if you'd like to see it I can email it to you. (I won't blow my own trumpet any more, but it is a really nice plan and has helped us get so far so quickly!). We are moving into our industrial unit on the 17th of September and pressing 25 tons of apples on the 1st of October and another 25 tons on the 1st of November, unlike a craft brewery which can buy grain monthly we must buy our apples in season that have to last us the whole year.

We'll be selling a dry, still, craft cider around 6%. Initially in 20L boxes but eventually on cask and in bottles. Our first product is called "Apple Smuggler", our second which will become available mid 2016 is 'Bubbly shipment', the same but primed with sugar to carbonate it. All ciders are to UK CAMRA's specification.

Any publicity is good publicity and i'd really appreciate if you could visit/like our facebook page/ twitter and share it with your friends. I've made some other "things" back in the day which we all trialed at the York RL meet, i've started growing many woad plants and i'm hoping to mix a blend of this cider and label it up as a WG only batch, probably 4 gallons or so for any future events.

Our website will be up in september but for now:

If you're friends with Warner or Gene you can find me through mutuals and add me if you like (Tom).

Mister Kyle and also Patty, very much please.
Hello Frozen.

Well hawkward as it is I suppose here is a good a place as any, (I also accidentally tore the physical clan charter but that was a genuine accident, well so was the chunder but alas)

I apologize for my behavior over the past years, after I left WG I would often return to the IRC to troll a little, cause a little trouble, that sort of thing for my own amusement and it wasn't good form and wasn't a good example to prospective members. The reason I was removed from emeritus to ex member was after I used HL's laptop to give myself secret permissions which was very deceiving and dangerous - however I always had the best intentions and would have never endangered the security of the clan, I only did it for, as some may describe as "lols", which was very short sighted.

I'm back now and different and very much miss all my old buddies, the few that remain. I am sorry for the trouble I have caused in the past and hope you can forgive me and look at the better bits.

SF.

Hello, I only remember you as a massive troll and as a person who wasn't good for our community.

Alas those days are long in the past, before you arrived I was a productive member, just had a bad period.

In other news if anyone still plays 2007 runescape if you could tell me your rsns that would be cool.

Hello old WG Friends,

I have a bit more spare time nowadays and i'm going to dabble in a bit of oldschool RS again, like the good old days.

Wonder if there's any of the original lot left,
my RSN is Runesfish,

Tom

QuoteKinda felt bad for the one guy who was like "Wtf is wg ftw" was like 7 vs 1.
He genuinely approached us first asking if we liked the UK hip hop scene, it was hilarious at the time.

Until watching this I didn't realize how fucking annoying I am,
luckily Steves ugliness has diverted attention away on the youtube comments.

Helps if you insert a buttplug up your anus during the attempt.

I'm not even joking, the anal muscles are linked to the throat muscles

Hi! This condition is known as persistant hiccups. Few people have this rare condition. Usually this is a sign of an underlying condition or problem you don't know about.

First, try some at home remedies-
* Drinking water
*Holding your breath
*Breathing out of a paper bag.

If the problem continues, you should call your doctor. Persistant Hiccuping can be a sign of a reaction to medication, heavy drinking, or simply stress. Your doctor might be able to perscribe a medication to help you with this problem.

Get Better!

I had hiccups for like a fuckn week, until each hiccup started to hurt. The only thing that worked for me was taking the deepest breath you can for as long as possible, then relax. Repeat this once every 5 minutes for 3 times, every hour?

I told keef that like 900 times, he's stirring trouble.
