OSRS INTRODUCTION: Quikdrawjoe

My RuneScape Name: Quikdrawjoe
My Previous RSNs: WE GOT TEA, Slowpaintbob
Joining for PvP events: No
My Combat Level: 71
My Stats:

About my RuneScape Account and History: Ancient history but I started back in 2005 some time.  I picked the name Quikdrawjoe because I thought it sounded cool and Quickdrawjoe was too long.  Even from my earliest memories I was fascinated with the Wilderness and I wanted to form a clan to explore it (knew nothing about PKing and had little interest in it) but that was obviously a bad idea as PKers and such.  As time wore on I became more interested in the PVP side of things especially once I bought membership and really started getting into Castle Wars.  I guess that leads into my favorite activities which is mainly clan vs clan PVP and Castle Wars (clan vs clan although solo queue is fun).  My favorite skill would have to be Agility.  Before I quit the game I was in the top 1,000 players in Agility.  Mostly because I spent most of my time running from people trying to kill me (my original money making method was green drag killing so people tried to PK me a lot).

My past clans/teams and any current teams: Clans:  Evolution, Prowess, The Legacy
Wilderness Guardians, Runescape Scorpions, Wilderness Guardians, Clay Gods

Teams/CCs:  Pest Control Elites, 3zealsftw (not sure exact name), Castle Wars Elites/Gods or something, Legends Never Die

I may have forgotten one or two but it's been years since I was a member of any.

About me: My name's Joe, and I live in Pittsburgh, PA.  I'm married and we have one adorable daughter.  I used to be into Runescape and then the EoC and other changes made me quit so I started trophy hunting for a few years and now I'm starting to get interested in Runescape again.  Beyond my family (did I mention my daughter is adorable) I love reading.  Dislikes? That list is longer than the day is long but it comes down to me disliking misinformation whether intentional or not.

I heard about WG through: Originally it was Valdremia and Ranma344
I want to join because: Although I've been in alot of clans there's never been one quite like WG.  It may be the biggest NH slumping clan of all time that's been dead for years but it's MY NH slumping clan that's been dead for years and it's the only place I could think of returning to after coming back to Runescape.

Regarding future events which may impact my activity: I start my internship this summer.

Been 5+ years since I've been in the clan now.  Just have a few questions while I massacre cows and decide if I want to try returning to RS/WG:

Are raids/PKRIs/wars a thing in OSRS?

If so, does WG do the above after 8 PM EST?

If so, f2p or p2p or both?

I can provide verification of my identity in PM if required to prove I'm not a RoT spy trying to crash  ##

RuneScape Discussion / August Behind the Scenes

Here are a few of the objects you could start earning points for now:

  • TzRek Jad, a pet that will require 99 Summoning, 99 Slayer, 100 zeal points AND you will have to hand over a fire cape. Obtained from Soul Wars.

  • Master runecrafter robes. These will provide a boost to Runecrafting XP when worn. Obtained from the Great Orb Project.

  • New Livid Farm spells, including new teleports, access to new patches and the ability to add specific non-lunar spells to the Lunar Spellbook.

Who wants to 50/50 at GOP? ##

Joe's Guide to Troll Invasion

Table Of Contents

I. Background

II. Gear and Inventory

III. Strategy

IV. Rewards

I.  Background

Troll Invasion was introduced on June 14th as a new Distraction and Diversion.  The game is similar to the Fight Caves with a reward similar to that of Penguin Hide and Seek.  To find out more about Troll Invasion and the basics please check this guide Here. If you see this guide anywhere else it is copyright infringement, please Private Message me and the site of the infringement.

II.  Gear and Inventory

Nietznot helm > Berserker helm/Warrior Helm

Fury > Glory > Strength Amulet

DFS > Dragon Defender > Rune defender > Obsidian Shield > Zamorak Book

Armadyl chestplate > Black D'hide Body

Onyx Ring(i) or Seers Ring(i) > > dragonstone ring (i) > Berserker Ring or Seers Ring > Explorer's Ring/beacon ring

Diamond (e) bolts OR Broad Bolts > Rune Arrows (if using Magic shortbow)

Inventory:

Dragon Claws > Armadyl Godsword > Any 25 or 50% special attack weapon

Rune crossbow > Magic shortbow

5 prayer potions

20 rocktail OR shark

III. Strategy

The strategy for Troll Invasion is to take advantage of the Supply Table near the castle.  You can use this table 5 times per wave fully restoring your health, prayer, reduced stats, and special attack bar.  I personally use d claws, that gives me 10 claws special attacks per wave.  Through proper use of the table and your special attacks you'll breeze through the waves.  NPC(s) listed in order should be attacked.  I use Deflect Melee and Turmoil the whole time.

QuoteEasy (20 waves):
1  Mountain Troll
2  Troll ranger
3  Troll ranger, mountain troll
4  Troll ranger, mountain troll x2
5  Poorly Cooked Karambwan*
6  Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
7  troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
8  Troll general
9  troll ranger, Troll general, mountain troll
10  troll ranger, Troll general x2
11  Wizard
12  Wizard, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
13  Wizard, troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
14  Troll father (and runts)
15  Troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, troll general, mountain troll
16  Troll father (and runts), Wizard, troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
17  Dynamite**, Summoner
18  Wizard, Summoner, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
19   Dynamite**, Wizard, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
20  Cliff

QuoteHard (7 waves):
1    Troll ranger x3, mountain troll x4
2     troll ranger, Poorly Cooked Karambwan x3*, mountain troll x2
3    Wizard, troll ranger x2, troll general x3, mountain troll
4    Wizard x2, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), troll general, Poorly Cooked Karambwan x2, mountain troll x2
5    Wizard, troll ranger, Troll father (and runts) x2, Poorly Cooked Karambwan x2, troll general, mountain troll x2
6    Dynamite**, Wizard, Summoner x2, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll
7    Dynamite**, Wizard, Cliff, troll ranger, troll father (and runts), Poorly Cooked Karambwan, mountain troll

*Poorly Cooked Karambwan - Reduces your stats if within 1-2 squares.  Is not aggressive unless attacked, I use claw specs to finish them once I've killed the most dangerous NPCs.
**Dynamite - It is absolutely VITAL that he does not kamikaze the supply table.  The supply table does not re spawn after he destroys it.  The prayer pots and sharks are in case he does though.

QuoteTl;Dr Version:
1 Kill Dynamite FIRST
2 Kill Wizards, Summoners, Rangers, Troll Father
3 Always use protect from melee and stat boosting prayers
4 Use supply table to restore health, prayer, special attack
5 Bring prayer pots and food in case something goes wrong

IV.  Rewards

130K+ experience per hour.

Experience in any skill you desire (once a month).  The amount depends on your level.  For example:

^ At 91 summoning
