Real Life Discussion / Extra dieting help
August 07, 2012, 01:59:54 PM
So im doing pretty well with my weight loss. Down 6kg in 4 weeks.

Just looking for some extra help with dieting.

I have cut out the big carb getters (bread, pasta, potatos etc) and am now cutting out all dairy including milk (was using milk for protein shake)

Just wondering what else might not be doing so well for me. E.g rice? Heard some are okay to eat, some not

Cheers

So you win $25,000, what do you do with the money?

Me personally, I would trade in my car for a newer one, buy a desktop pc, and travel to america for a month!

Real Life Discussion / Sports Gambling
September 04, 2011, 11:01:12 AM
Anyone else gamble alot of sports?

I have been betting for about a year and a half now, mostly on NBA (National Basketball League) and AFL (Australian Rules Football).

Recently I have started researching into the games deeply and spending most of my days looking at stats and trends and putting an all most full time study into the games.

So this weekend was my first weekend of betting since my study, and as I type this, I am 40 minutes away from winning $3000 after starting the weekend with $100.

MATH RULES LOLZ

If any Aussies wants tips for gambling I can help out :)

Note, I wasn't 100% sure of wins, that would be impossible, I am more around 80%, but the bets I put on have a pay out of around $6 for every dollar spent, so its well worth the study :)

Real Life Discussion / Work Work Work!
August 23, 2011, 06:58:06 AM
So since quitting RuneScape, I have been hella busy with jobs.

First I worked a few days with my uncle in his multi-million dollar company that repairs building damaged by weather doing easy jobs such as driving him around in his Porsche all day.

Then I had a job interview with Tennis Australia about a management role in Operational Health and Safety. I went to the group interview and it didn't look like I was a chance.

So a few days later I had a job interview with Crown Casino for a role in the kitchens as a kitchen hand.

That was about two weeks ago.

Since then I worked about 45 hours p/week until a few days ago I got an email from Tennis Australia saying I had got the job with them.

So I quit my job with the casino (After a cool $1890 :) ) and now get to start working for Tennis Australia for the upcoming Australian Open, for an extra $10-15 p/h as well as benefits such as travel and food expenses that I didn't get at the casino.

So I'm a happy boy, and I booked flights to Thailand for 16 days with my girlfriend so I'm going to have a good time once I finish working in March after the Australian Open  ##

How's everyone else doing since I last got to chat with you all?
