Oops, yeah thanks for moving :D

Sure, I don't think the majority of RS3 players would care about a Wildy Revival suggestion. But I do think they would care if it were implemented. Personally I think catering to the wilderness would be the best thing for the overall health and growth of RS3. Players who don't care now would care once they saw the effects. It's just hard for many RS3 players to see it now because most of them started playing after the wilderness was already dead. Just my thoughts on that.

As far as Jagex caring goes, I think they care a bit more than that. They've been working on a few things to improve the wildy. Some of these projects are on hold at the moment (like the Bounty Hunter rework), but I think the fact that they do have plans for it shows that they care at least a little bit.

Hey guys! I wrote a Wildy Revival plan up in the RS3 forums and uploaded it to Runelabs. Hoping it might get some attention for the 2017 focus that Jagex was talking about. Since this clan's roots are in the wildy I though you guys might like to check it out.

Link to my forum thread can be found here.

In short, it kind of takes some queues from His Lordship's wilderness resources suggestion while attempting to solve a pain point for many RS3 players (losing wealth). I'd love to know all your thoughts either here, on in the RS3 forum thread.

Also, if you think this idea is good you can support it on Runelabs here.

RuneScape Discussion / Re: Review: RS Documentary
February 16, 2016, 08:56:39 PM
Yay! I've been looking for a review like this ever since I knew it was being shown. Glad you were the one to do it! :D & don't worry about the video quality. The quality of the topic far outweighs the quality of the picture.

I'm really excited to see this doc now.

I do have 1 question about it though in the meantime. Does the documentary cover the idea of online community? Both the pros and cons of such a concept? I'm trying to convince my wife to watch it, but she wouldn't be interested if it simply assumed that online community is a good thing. I think she would quite enjoy it though if it looked objectively at the idea of an online community in the form of a game. Just curious :)

RuneScape Discussion / Re: DarkScape Starting Guide

  • Be sure to block xp in the game settings if you're building a pure. (almost positive this is possible, but I haven't had a chance to test)
  • Do the waterfall quest for 13,750 attack and 13,750 strength xp. No requirements to do this quest.
  • Do the Blood Pact quest to unlock a good training area for low level players.
  • Do the stronghold of security for an easy 10k and decent melee boots. I believe if you have authenticator enabled you can use the portals to skip to the end.
  • Do the stronghold of player safety for another easy 10k and decent melee gloves.

Very interesting indeed. Gonna have to give this a try.

I enjoyed reading your application. Welcome to the community mate! Just curious, do you have any experience in Clan Wars with a clan/team? If not, not a big deal because we'll turn you into a pro ;)

No, unfortunately I have no Clan Wars experience or team fighting experience.  The most experience I've had has been with a couple friends dipping our toes in the wildy, but that was a long time ago.

RS3 INTRODUCTION: Ploxyes

My RuneScape Name: Ploxyes
My Previous RSNs: The_Lizard33, ZacHank.
Interested in PvP: Yes
My Stats:

About my RuneScape Account and History: I started in 05 and was f2p for about 7 years before getting membership.

I actually just found out my RSN means 'Please Yes' (not good at 1337 I guess).  Before that though I just thought it sounded cool.

My favorite RS activites by far is ranged and melee combat but I'm looking forward to learning how to defeat the ultimate opponent (aka players).

RS is by far my favorite game for 2 reasons.  1st is nostalgia and second is free reign, you can do anything here in ways that you can't in other mmos.

My past/current clans/teams are: I've only been in one clan before and that was Mama's Family.  They're an activities based clan which I left to find a more pvp focused clan.  This was the obvious choice.
About me: My name is Zach Hankel and I go by Zach or Hank.  I'm 24, male, married to a beautiful wife, and live in CO right now.  I love reading, writing, hiking, gaming, debating philosophy, and roasting coffee.  I tend towards the Post Rock and Alt Rock music scene and I've often said Explosions in the Sky is the soundtrack to my life.

Currently working in IT but I'm looking to get my Masters in Philosophy, just cause.

I heard about WG through: His Lordship's Wilderness Videos
I want to join because: PvP was a huge reason I started playing RS, I want to get back into it.

Regarding the IRC, I am: Not yet familiar with IRC
Regarding TeamSpeak 3, I have: Installed

Regarding future events which may impact my activity: The normal IRL things someone of my age does.
