The combat academy in Lumbridge might be able to help.

Oh god, I'm a noob all over again. FUCK!

@Jenny

Hi! It's nice to see you're still around! How have you been?

I don't know about rejoining because I highly doubt I'd get anywhere near close to the requirements since I only have a month of P2P left and only bought it to quench my thirst for an RPG style game and didn't really want to get hooked onto a new game, so I decided to go with a game I'd already gotten bored with, haha.

@Al

I studied Economics and Philosophy (minor) at UC Davis.

@JC

I guess it's not so much the levels that annoys me, it's the quests. I've never enjoyed questing, and just know I won't enjoy it the second time around. Having to do the long quests in that vampire region is not something I look forward to.

I don't even mind having lower levels, because I know it'd be fun once I reached certain thresholds, but the monotony would set in at some point as it always did back when I played regularly.

I'll give RS3 a shot, but feel like I'll have to do a lot of catching up to even be on par, and instead of "playing" I fear it'll all feel like a chore. Hopefully not though.

Is there a relatively easy to follow guide to the new EoC stuff? I logged in, was annoyed I couldn't skip that long ass cutscene, and then was so confused by absolutely everything that I used to understand I logged out, haha.

Oh shit, that took off, haha.

Yeah, I was originally 1coloenl1 but now I'm Dnovelta.

I actually just left Davis because I'm done with college now, so I'm looking for a goddamn job but the man is keeping me down! Haha, I joke...but I am looking for a job. I'm in Illinois now living with my folks for a few months before I go back to CA.

I did get P2P for a month to check things out, and have like 15 in most of my melee stats. It's kind of depressing having maxed melee, ranged, 95 prayer and shit on RS3 and being a total scrub in RS07, haha.

So, I guess I'll see how much training I can get done and see where I end up. Should be a fun trip down memory lane between games of LoL, CS and Minecraft.

I'm glad to see the WG community is still strong and thriving.

Was thinking about playing RS for a month since I kind of wanted a RPG fix, and saw something about WG on RSC, and figured I'd try to be friendly and say hello.

So, how's things? Does WG operate in RS3, or is the clan strictly RS07? I see there's a division between PvP and non-PvP, at least that's how I see it.

Do you guys think RS is worth coming back to? Is 07 still as fun as it was when it was current, and is the new RS worth playing?

Server: NA
Name: Dnovelta
ID: [email protected] or 277 (character ID)

I'm also just a bronze league Terran in 1v1, but it would be cool to practice against some of WG.
I'm gold 2v2, Platinum 3v3 and Gold 4v4.

I'm not active but when I do play all I do is PvM so I'd like to be on the list of PvMers so on the occasion I do play I know who to go to and people know they can ask me.

Join the Clan / David's Introduction
June 22, 2011, 01:36:03 AM
1. Tell us about your RuneScape history and your account (e.g. when you started, what your RSN means, favourite activities etc.) :
I started playing RS in eighth grade so that would be 2004. I joined WG for the first time on April 2, 2005 when the requirements were 80 combat.

Initially my RSN was 1colonel1, and that just game from the game Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour - Colonel Burton. I had an account that had something to do with the character Black Lotus, but I stopped playing it before I ever got any of its levels up. I changed 1colonel1 to Dnovelta (which is my RSN now). My name is David, and in the phonetic alphabet, D corresponds to delta, and my last name starts with an "N" and that corresponds to November, so I played around with it and got D-nov-elta.

My favorite activities in RS I guess would be boss hunting, but even that is boring. This is why I'm only continuing on with WG as Emeritus. I don't play RS while I have classes because it's just one more distraction and one that just doesn't compare with the other things I have going on in my life.

In my real life, I enjoy playing in the marching band that I'm in. I was recently elected to be one of two section leaders for the drum section. I play the cymbals, but am learning to play the snare drum. I also enjoy hanging out with my girlfriend, be it just sitting and talking or going to the movies. She's awesome because she doesn't care that I'm a nerd, so I don't ever feel the need to hide the fact that I played and occasionally still do play RS.

2. Tell us more about yourself (Age, country/state, gender, hobbies, music, skills, likes and dislikes):
I'm 21 years old and will be turning 21 on May 2nd. I live in California and am a boy.

I love playing CS:S, SC2 and whatever game is in my Nintendo DS. I listen to all sorts of music. I'm getting into more country because my girlfriend loves it so whenever she's around that's what we listen to.

As for skills, I'm not sure what to put here. I'm a leader, but also a good listener and conversationalist. I know how to argue without alienating the person I'm arguing with or making them feel as though I'm attacking them.

I like lots of things. I love watching football and baseball. I love listening to music. I love computers and computer games. I especially love economic theory. I dislike facades and people assuming they're smart, or smarter than me by virtue of absolutely nothing. It's a major pet peeve of mine.

3. How did you hear about us and what makes you want to join WG or DG:
I heard about WG in 2004 after I'd been killed at the eastern Green Dragon location by some random PKer. I was in some other clan but don't remember the name and joined with MrMe355 and Punck Rockaa. We were all from the same clan and came here together.

4. Are there any current WG or DG members who you already know:
All of them I think?

5. Any additional comments:
I hope things work out from here for WG.
