This way people can play the game they've grown to like AND others can enjoy the oldskool PvP.
Seems like a win-win to me.
1. Not going to pay Jagex more money
2. Not going to ignore the last 5 years (2007-2013) that I've worked on my account
3. Not going to relive four years (2003-2007) to achieve goals I've already achieved
4. Not going to pour countless hours into a game that doesn't change with me
5. Not going to play two Runescapes at once and waste double the time
6. Not going to enjoy 2007-scape like everyone thinks. A lot of shit has come since, but going back will remove MANY good updates.*
7. Not going to enjoy splitting WG into even more sub-clans, assuming some people don't pay.
8. Not going to believe that a 2007 wilderness will be much better than a 2013 wilderness, given how small the clan world is.
* NOTE: Everyone is recalling a highly fantasized 2007-scape where everything was awesome. In adulthood, 2007-scape is going to be a lot less magical and I'll bet you're going to be very disappointed after a dozen hours of gameplay. You remember those times so fondly because of nostalgia, nothing more.
