No, but I abuse other things :3

Have you ever threw up over a friend?

yes just a few days ago, but i managed to get my drunken self away in time to avoid splatting them with vomit.

have you ever gone skinny dipping?

No, I heard you can get herpes that way. ##

Have you ever...accidentally broke something really valuable?

actually hopefully they improve exp rates on oldscape, and eventually realize that noone in the community likes eoc, and it withers away in a slow painful death

Some men just want to watch the world burn

Let's be real for a sec, why are you playing if you hate EoC so much? Do you or do you not like the game? 1. Just because people vote for 2007scape doesn't mean they hate EoC, 2. You're looking at the situation in one direction. If you step out of the box you'll realize every aspect of the game has substantially been improved or will be improved (skilling, regular combat, PvM, questing, graphics, little things like tasks/challenges, game engine), EXCEPT PvP.

We're lucky Jagex admits fault and addresses problems (microtransactions, giving away free experience the wilderness, and even now releasing the toggle). It's a company and they have to profit, but more especially because their venture capitalists, IVP, won't give them another round of funding if they don't profit, which might result in the game genuinely being dead. In the end, Jagex doesn't owe us shit, so people that complain and hate the game should really stop playing. EVERYTHING in life gets old, you do neither the community or yourself any good by continuing to play a game you no longer enjoy.

Yeah, the community is fed up with Jagex and they might not deserve an ounce of forgiveness for anything now, at least they're trying. At least we still have something to enjoy. And maybe we can sit out this toggle just like we did throughout the wilderness removal, Bounty Hunter, EP, etc. Like we always have.

Btw, I'm not speaking against or for anyone. You're entitled to your own opinion, just hopes this shed a new light.

God people are retarded. Everyone's just going to play it to realize how shit 2007 actually was then realize their mistakes come back and actually appreciate the game a lot more.

Which means vote for 2007scape so people will realize and play EoC more. ##

Anyways, that all being said it doesn't mean I won't vote to support. Just my opinion, you're entitled to yours. It's like gay marriage. We can all be happy.

I'm completely with Gene and Abs on this one. Except the part of "never" stepping into it. I'll probably check it out just to visit, but it'll probably end up like Classic or something lol. I remember logging onto classic like twice and never logged in again. It's like a time machine though, interesting to see what it was when you first played it.

I think its daft when people judge me when I say I enjoy EoC. Both the old wilderness and combat system and the new EoC have its pros and cons. You can debate all day long on which one's better, but one thing's for sure. There's only one system you can move forward with.

I enjoy the new fluid graphics, and more complex system, it makes it more fun. However, EoC PvP does not equal wilderness. Jagex dealt the final knockout blow to the wilderness with the toggle.

Idk what makes you guys think its going to be great and so much better. The wilderness was already dead before EoC. RS "died" when Jagex removed the wilderness and free trade. The damage can't be repaired. I'm 100% sure it isn't going to be the same as what you thought it'd be, or what it was before they removed it.

Why train and make money all over in a fakescape?
What's the point of fighting in the wilderness if it's not the real RS?
Why even bother to post a victory or win?

I think it's all hunger for nostalgia tbh. I'm not saying anything cause I was there too. I was also devastated by removal of wildy, and longed for it to come back, and after that longed for the old clan pvp world to come back. But we can't go back. We can only move forward.

edit: @Jean

I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's OPTIONAL so why not just vote and help the people who want it?
Maybe they see more people getting Maxed out and actually COMPLETING their Completionists cape and is trying to keep them interested in the game buy having them be #1 on the new servers.
It doesn't matter if you're for it or not everyone's right, I just don't see why you can't vote and help the people who want to play back in the old school days.

Well for multiple reasons. One, because it can divide the pvp clan world up again. Or all of RS for that matter, making things worse than they seem to be. Two, because its a backwards approach to advancing and fixing the wilderness. Three, not only can it divide the playerbase up, it might divide clans up.

I can imagine people going back to this version, and then people on the current version would be left out. And then people on the current version start complaining, and then a whole war starts. Oldscape vs. Newscape. It's already like this with servers.

O and one last thing, like Gary said. Generations of scapers. We were all young teens and kids when oldscape was around. We're now in uni, have jobs, married, at the least in high school. Why would the new generation go to an older version of scape? It'd be like me going back to classic (I started in 05/06).

☼The Wilderness Guardians☼

Hey Guest I thought i'd give you a little info about my clan, WG:

What we have to offer like other clans

* P2P Pking - We are out several times weekly, with pk trips always being successful.
* F2P Pking - We have 1 F2P pk trip each week for the Aussie members
* Warring/PKRIs - We have a war or a PKRI usually every two weeks, but occasionally weekly.
* Requirements - We keep our requirements at 100+ F2P to keep standards high with our members.
* Excellent Community - The WildGuard community is one of the best in the clan world, and you can ask many people that will agree.
*Money-making - We have support in many money-making events, from GWD, just plain skilling events, and even EP-gaining!
*Active Teamspeak and IRC - Our Teamspeak server can hold up to 1,000 members in it, and our IRC channel is always filled with people chatting about anything you can think of.

What sets us apart from other clans

*5.5 Years - WildGuard is one of the longest standing clans in the clan world, and still going strong under the same leadership.
*Positive Reputation - WildGuard is one of the most well known clans, and we're always asked for wars/pkris.
*Clan Website - Our website is probably the best clan website in the entire clan world, with the largest set of photo archives in the clan world.
*Forums - Our forums are one of the most secure forums in the clan world with our forum technician, Robbiethe1st.
*Leadership - The Wilderness Guardians have always been under the same leadership of His Lordship since it was founded, making him one of the longest serving clan world leaders.
*Event Variety - We have events like no other clan has, with probably the most events of any clan in the clan world.
*Event Frequency - We have an event almost every other day, ensuring that people will always find something to do with WG.
*Clan Anniversary - Our Clan Anniversary is one of the most well known in the world, stretching over 7 days with 20 events, and millions in cash/item prizes.
*Anti-extended PKRIs - We have a policy on not having PKRIs that last longer than three hours because we believe our members abilities rely on skill, not returning sets.
*Mentor System - We have a system where our Trial Guardians are paired up with our veteran members to help learn their way around WG.
*Non-RS Games - WildGuard plays a wide variety of games not RS related, from iSketch, Cannons, and many other games.
*Easy Application System - WildGuard has a system that instantly puts a member into a clan, no future applicants.
*World Timezones - All timezones are covered in events, so no specific timezone suffers.
*Allied Events - WildGuard has many events with our allies, ensuring a strong, reliable relationship continues with our allied clans.

In secondary school my PE teacher snapped my arm in half doing Judo -because he thought he could- rather than being a qualified instructor. Despite my hand being able to touch my elbow (bent backwards) the hospital staff still had to ask me what the problem was, after which they gave me x2 paracetamol, x1 ibuprofen and sent me to a different hospital.
What in ze weorld..

I'm not laughing at you or the situation but lmfao if that happened in America people would be sued; major news agencies would be reporting...
