RuneScape Discussion / F2P Warring Gear
June 24, 2012, 02:24:46 AM
Having the best F2p gear is crucial for our cwa fights - every bit helps, and from looking at our previous war theres still a few people missing the correct gear.
Please do make the effort to get them, if you need help with getting any of the gear post on this topic.

FoG Gear
It's much easier to buy the uncharged version off the GE then go charge it at FoG to save time, below is the cost of recharging the items.

Druidic Mage Hood: 10 Tokens
Druidic Mage Top: 30 Tokens
Druidic Mage Bottom:  20 Tokens

Rune Berserker Shield: 30 Tokens
Rune Gauntlets:  20 Tokens
Total: 110 Tokens

Should take no longer than 1 hour to get this.

Dungeoneering Items

Gravite Rapier - 40k Tokens
Gravite 2h - 40k Tokens
Gravite Staff - 40k Tokens
Arcane Necklace - 15k Tokens
Tome of Frost - 44k Tokens
Longbow Sight - 10k Tokens
Magic Blastbox - 40k Tokens
Total: 229K  (Though if this is too much, even just getting the rapier and longbow sight will be good.)

Other

Explorers Ring - Highly usefull: Restores 150% run energy which is amazing for tanking, and also gives a prayer bonus. This is a reward from completing Lumbridge/Draynor Task 3 List.

Talisman Staff - best f2p tanking staff (same stats as gravite). Usefull to have this incase dungeoneering items aren't enabled. Bought for 10k tokens after playing Great orb Project.

Swanky Boots - F2p boots which give mage bonus. reward from gunnars ground.

Hampers - ~5 pieces of food in one inventory space, reward from completeing Lumbridge/Draynor task 4 List.

Post below if you need help with dungeoneering to get gravites. I will run some floors.

HELLO MY NAME IS DATZEMUS AND THIS IS MY GUIDE TO ARMOURED ZOMBIES.

Armoured zombies are one of the best places to train in Rune$cape.

• They are undead, so salve amulet can be used for 20% bonus strength/attack

• There is an altar very close, so you can turmoil/piety 100% of the time, or if you're lower combat you can use protection prayers.

• They drop charms, and some decent noted items making them somewhat profitable

• And lastly, they're very easily afkable - so no excuses ##

Requirements

Quests
To kill armoured zombies you need to have completed Defender of Varrock. Listed below are all the quests leading up to it that also must be completed. Most of these are very fast however, so won't take you long.

Defender of Varrock
The Family Crest
Garden of Tranquillity
What Lies Below
Temple of Ikov
The Knights Sword
Shield of Arrav
Romeo and Juliet
Demon Slayer
Creature of Fenkenstrain
Haunted Mine*

Stats
All the stats needed to complete above quests;

59 Magic
59 Mining
54 Smithing
51 Hunter
51 Agility
42 Thieving
40 Crafting
35 Runecrafting
25 Farming

What to take
Basically you want to prioritise Attack/Strength bonuses as much as possible.
Salve amulet is a must if you have it, and bonecrusher/Herbicide is some nice bonus prayer/herb exp too.

The prayer potions are not nessecary as there is an altar close by, though i choose to bring them so I can AFK even moreso without bothering to click the ladder for prayer. Lower levels may opt to bring food instead, or just leave space open for loot.

Refer to the below table if you still aren't sure what gear to take.
Helm: Neitiznot > Berserker > Warrior
Plate: Bandos > Fighter Torso > Rune
Legs: Bandos > Dragon > Rune
Shield: Dragon Defender > Rune Defender > Dragonfire Shield > Obsidian Shield
Boots: Steadfast > Dragon
Gloves: Goliath > Barrows-Addy (RFD) > Regen Brace > Combat Brace
Amulet: Salve Amulet > Fury > Glory
Cape: Kiln Cape > Fire Cape > Skillcape
Weapon: Chaotic Rapier > Whip > Sara Sword > D Scimmy
Tips
• For a cheaper alternative to super strength pots, bring a Dragon Battleaxe for the spec, then sip a restore & super attack potion.

• Like other aggressive npc's, they will go passive after 15 minutes. Climbing up/down the ladder for prayer will reset the timer.

• It's not multi combat here so fighting familiars won't help you, however a bunyip can be handy.

• From picking up the noted drops here, you can make upto 200k gp/hour

Join the Clan / Intro: Zemus
June 21, 2011, 09:12:05 AM
1. Tell us about your RuneScape history and your account (e.g. when you started, what your RSN means, favourite activities etc.) :
I started playing around 7 years ago after some friends introduced me to the game, I have since quit (4 months-ish ago) and now play WoW but wish to stay in the WG community as emeritus.

When I did play I did a bit of everything.

I was an avid PvM'er and around 08 I lead my own pvm clan focusing on godwars, this lasted for most of the year. I eventually accumulated around 4B of loot from bosses (mostly armadyl, with around 70 hilts there) before easing off it and moving onto skilling.

I maxed overall late 2010 after finally reaching 99 runecrafting and 120 DG. I hadn't always considered myself a skiller, i'd just train skills when i had nothing to do then suddenly I was that close i decided to finish it off. Dungeoneering was my favourite, mostly because of the people I did it with made it a lot more fun. Think my fastest floor I've keyed was 12 minutes with a 15-20 minute average.
I've since gave my account to Spounty to use after I maxed out.

Now-days I can be found owning it up on WoW.

2. Tell us more about yourself (Age, country/state, gender, hobbies, music, skills, likes and dislikes):
My names Michael (or most WG know me as moose), I'm 18 from the central coast, NSW Australia. Music- i'll listen to just about anything, metal, pop, some rap, dubstep, anything that sounds good #.
Hobbies; Soccer, i've been playing about 7 years now. Started as a fullback and then moved onto striker. Didn't end up playing this year because i'm poor and don't want to hand over $250 # but usually go down to the park and have a game there with some mates.

I'm pretty laid back so as long as you aren't an complete idiot like Sativas then i'm sure we'll get along :)

3. How did you hear about us and what makes you want to join WG or DG:
I heard about WG 3 1/2 years ago from Spounty, a member at the time. Went to school with him and he was like "yo you should join", and so i did. No regrets there.
Had a lot of good times in WG and met some amazing people (you know who you are ##), I've been to 1 IRL meeting and that was a lot of fun meeting the aussie crew, and I wear my WG shirt all day err'day (no but srsly wore it to Tafe today, and am wearing it atm <:DD)

4. Are there any current WG or DG members who you already know:
I know most if not all of the current members, maybe not some of the newer members at this stage.

5. Any additional comments:
