The Wilderness Guardians is a very active PvP clan.
All our PvP members need to be prepared for Wilderness events that may occur at any time.
As such, we ask that our members keep themselves well-stocked in terms of PvP gear.

You are asked to keep at minimum THREE F2P AND THREE P2P RETURN SETS stocked at all times.
It is strongly recommended you have more - three sets is the absolute minimum.
The complete details of what you need are in this topic.

You will be asked to provide proof of your sets when you apply to graduate to full member.
After that, we trust you to keep yourself prepared for PvP.
However, if you are found to not have the minimum requirements, disciplinary action will be taken.


SECTION 1: SKILLS AND QUESTS (P2P)

This section outlines the skills and quests needed to obtain your gear.
The "General (Melee)" section is required for everyone.
After that, pick EITHER Ranged or Magic as your secondary style.

All members MUST have at least two styles during PvP events, unless specified otherwise.
If you for some reason absolutely cannot hybrid, at least bring a dragon spear to use.
You should speak to a leader about your position prior to the event if this is an issue.

Skill Levels You Need:
55+ Defence (Helm of Neitiznot)
60+ Attack (Dragon Scimitar)
43+ Prayer (Protect from Melee), 52+ strongly recommended

The Fremennik Trials
 -> The Fremennik Isles (Helm of Neitiznot)
Tree Gnome Village
The Grand Tree
 -> Monkey Madness (Dragon Scimitar)
Death Plateau (Climbing Boots)

Skill Requirements for Quests:
20+ Construction
56+ Woodcutting
46+ Crafting
40+ Agility
43+ Prayer
20+ Defence
25+ Fletching

Skill Levels You Need:
70+ Ranged (Black D'hide Body/Vambraces)

Quests For Gear:

Priest in Peril
 -> Animal Magnetism (Ava's Accumulator)

35+ Woodcutting

SECTION 2: GEAR

The gear options for the different setups are as follows.
Please be aware, some images have not yet been updated as per the old-school wiki.
Remember, you need to have at least THREE F2P and THREE P2P sets stocked at all times.

P2P GEAR

Items marked with an asterisk (*) are alternatives the staff deem acceptable at the current time.
These are temporary and are subject to removal at the staff's discretion.
You should aim to stock up purely on the recommendations.

You are generally welcome to bring better equipment (e.g. whips, Barrows items, etc.) but at your own risk.

Last night I had a shower, and we had some weird new bath gel. I decided to try it out.

Shortly after the shower I notice my back and arms feel really dry. I take no note of it.

I was up till around 3-4AM finishing my English coursework. After that I got into bed, but due to excessive consumption of energy drinks, I was unable to fall asleep. I simply lay there for around 3 or 4 hours straight.

At around 6AM, I noticed a weird prickly feeling on my back and arms. While sleep was already impossible, this made even lying down uncomfortable. Thinking it had something to do with the heat, I turned off the heater and opened the window slightly.

The prickling continued. The best way to describe it was as if a large amount of porcupines were rolling around on my skin. It must have been a reaction to that new bath gel. I had college in a few hours, and I needed to at least get some sleep in.

I changed tshirts, but that didn't help at all. I eventually picked up on the fact that the porcupines occurred whenever my skin touched fabric. I took my shirt off entirely and opened the window fully, but the porcupines returned as soon as I lay on my back or side. I tried laying on my front and using my arms to keep my chest from touching the bed, but the porcupines just moved their way down to my arms, which was equally as bad.

It was nearing 7am and I was running out of sleep time and options, and the siege of porcupines was not letting up. Then I recalled how the WG t-shirt is 100% Australian cotton and most buyers claim it's the most comfortable shirt they own. I jumped out of bed and dug through my cupboard until I found the shirt, and put it on. I then got back into bed and lay down as normal.

In less than 5 minutes, the porcupines were gone.

Bravo, WG...

All my friends, college classmates, even my teachers all approve, and are now calling me Vio.
