A great cheap way to train magic.

If it helps at all i found rune arrows are nearly always a good item to alch with the loss only ever reaching 2 or so gp. Sometimes you can also make a few gp :D
This might not be a trick to becoming uber rich but at least its a reliable source of cheap magic experience :D Also you can buy huge amounts at a time without owning your cash pile.
