So you all know I retired from RS3 after I maxed because I don't find it fun anymore. I go on to do dailies, talk and screw around, but yesterday I took another stab at playing OSRS, and it looks like I'll be doing this instead of standing around on RS3!

I logged in after 500+ days at level 32/33 (can't remember, damn thing wasn't tracking me) and got to level 43 in a day. I'm suited up with just enough supplies from Mobby when WG first started in OS and Suffud also gave me a Rune scim and some other stuff (thanks again). I'm finding some amusement out of it, even though I still think it looks shit compared than RS3's graphics, but it's part of it. I like the old school feel, the challenge...money is hard to come by and there's no easy money like QBD or Frosts, right?

It's also nice to meet lots of the new members here, so hit me up/reply if you ever see me in His Lordship's chat. There's always 10+ people in there now at all times, that's pretty cool.

I need tips also: how to get some gp for supplies, combat training, and a lot for prayer, magic, and ranged...where I should train combat. I'm currently just at Rock Crabs chilling and training melee. Picking up whatever scrap I can get from drops.

Probably not going to be playing serious, because I'm just training combat, and I'm not sure I can officially be an active rank without being the required combat level. But I might have something to attend raids with maybe for in the future.

Hey welcome to OSRS again!
I suggest to train at chaos druids/flesh crawlers, they drop a lot of herbs.

Yeah I remember flesh crawlers being good money. That little bit would pay for what I really really need, like food. Or I can pick up salmon at barb village lol.

49 combat! Almost 50 now. Gotta figure out how I'm gonna get a Rune set, Obby cape, and gp for sets as well if I want to raid.

Hey, if you're still training on Rock Crabs, i suggest u to go to the AFK spots. to get there talk to the traveller by the boat, go through all options and after that you'll have the option to travel to waterbirth. on this island you have 4 afk spots shown on this picture

Appreciate it guys. Yeah some have told me it's really fast to do the quests for the combat experience but I really CBF questing, especially doing them again. I prefer the relaxing aggro training where you can afk.

Hey maybe on a raid I can come loot or something. And scout and maybe kill other scouts.

but when you aren't AFK you shouldn't definitely do them. You'll reach the higher levels so faster that way.

Got full rune from limps, a couple ranarr seeds, and misc. crap from training. Except chain lol.

Been quite easy really. Averaging 1-2 hours of playing time daily. Starting to take longer to level now.

Oh yeah let me take you up on that offer. I wear a Ring of Life in case something like disconnecting happens or afking.

If you're training range i'd advise getting an accumulator sooner rather than later!

Yeah it looks like I should soon but I still don't feel like questing.

Up to 57 combat now and went from 25 to 52 magic in like 36 hours. Learned how to splash.

Trying to raise money for splash runes and iron knives. Shout to Hazy On Didz for the 70k in runes and Brad for the Ring of Wealth.

Also, I tried a little looting with Mojo, Runetiger, Kate Bush, and others. It was hilarious but also frustrating because of the pures hitting you and other looters making it hard. Mojo led the way with like 6m and I got like 30k. Runetiger made like 1m+.

With that I got some knives for Ranged and so far the rest have been put towards splash runes, which costs 70k per session. I'm up to level 67 now!

And made a quick 75k at a quick melee training session at Flesh Crawlers to get 51 attack and 58 combat. I'll gain another combat level at 70 magic. Almost 60!!

More levels: 8-30 prayer for 3 combat levels, 50 ranged, and melee levels. 64 combat now!!!
