There's this classical music station called ABC Classic FM that is doing a countdown of best pieces of music... and we're trying to vote the biggest piece of garbage song to the top. So yeah, if you could vote... it takes like 30 seconds, we will love you for all time!
When ABC Classic FM releases it's Classic 100 20th century countdown, let's make sure that at the very top of that list, is one of the great master works of the century: Stockhausen's Helicopter Quartet.
It is such an imaginative, moving work that has much to say about the human condition, and has brought me to tears on many occasions.

Forget the favourites (Shostakovich, Debussy, VW, Rach) - they'll make it in there without your help. Give old Stocky his time in the sun. Stockhausen may have believed he was born on Sirius, the "Dog Star" but his music is fully of Earthly delights.
