Almost died stories

Post your stories where you almost died...

Heres my story i was driving my brothers car http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f3/Mercedes-Benz_CLK430.jpg  and theres this little button that takes off all control of the car so you can do insane slides and everything and ive done it acouple of times and this one time i pressed on the gas just alittle to much and was sliding right into the curve. Lost control of the car for about 2 seconds and almost destroying my brothers new 4000 dollars customized bumper he just bought a 2 weeks ago

Uhm, car roll overs, car crashes..

also, when you swim under the cover you put over your pool, paniced hard one day lol nearly drowned, i dunno probably alot more ways

Took my mum's BMW 730 up to 90mph one time (slightly drunk), and then passed round by my friend's house. It overheated, and we heard *some* liquid splashing out of it. We gave it 10 minutes to cool down, and then I decided to drive it home.

- Coming over a bridge (on a slant) at 50mph
- Traffic lights ahead, on red.
- Press brake, nothing happens
- Realise the liquid was brake fluid

Windsurfing...i flew off....got stuck under the sail, which gets very heavy once it's underwater....went to swim out....and the lfieboat spd past...send the boat the way i was escaping....and then i got my foot stuckon something. 1minute later i found the surface of the water ##

Actually did - was night time, was driving 50 in a 30 (bad idea at night with no road lights) the road suddenly bent (i mean this wouldn't have been an issue if i was doing a sensible speed) and i ended up goin the wrong way up the road, and smashed into the curb. Dented the left wheel of my car and almost popped the tyre. Drove it home... Man the steering shakes when you have a dent in the wheel. (had just passed my test... learnt pretty quickly to cool it.)

Was riding my bike down the street, then a corner came and a bus was making the corner to its left (my right). Right after it was a car who was ALSO making the curve. I didn't see the car, pressed the brakes very hard and flew off the bike (not a motorcycle lols). I facefloored and the bike fell up on me. Ya it hurt.

Once i was driving my car behind a bus and the bus turned left. I was also going to the left. When i was about to turn, a kid on a bike almost crashed into my car. But he pressed the brakes very hard and fell and almost hit my $4000 bumpers. Instead of hitting the car, he flew into a 6 foot hole. Luckily him, he only hurt his pinkie toe. True story.

oh my dad nearly made someones near death experience, he has showed me the photo, him and his mate went speeding over a bridge, took off and landed on the car in front.

Lol yeah. Nah, was running indoor track and tried to open a glass door but it shattered on me and I cut an artery. By the time I got to the hospital the nurse said I was ghost white from losing so much blood
