[Combat] Training Combat - Armoured Zombies
Zemus:
HELLO MY NAME IS DATZEMUS AND THIS IS MY GUIDE TO ARMOURED ZOMBIES.
Armoured zombies are one of the best places to train in Rune$cape.
• They are undead, so salve amulet can be used for 20% bonus strength/attack
• There is an altar very close, so you can turmoil/piety 100% of the time, or if you're lower combat you can use protection prayers.
• They drop charms, and some decent noted items making them somewhat profitable
• And lastly, they're very easily afkable - so no excuses ##
Requirements
Quests
To kill armoured zombies you need to have completed Defender of Varrock. Listed below are all the quests leading up to it that also must be completed. Most of these are very fast however, so won't take you long.
Defender of Varrock
The Family Crest
Garden of Tranquillity
What Lies Below
Temple of Ikov
The Knights Sword
Shield of Arrav
Romeo and Juliet
Demon Slayer
Creature of Fenkenstrain
Haunted Mine*
Stats
All the stats needed to complete above quests;
59 Magic
59 Mining
54 Smithing
51 Hunter
51 Agility
42 Thieving
40 Crafting
35 Runecrafting
25 Farming
What to take
Basically you want to prioritise Attack/Strength bonuses as much as possible.
Salve amulet is a must if you have it, and bonecrusher/Herbicide is some nice bonus prayer/herb exp too.
The prayer potions are not nessecary as there is an altar close by, though i choose to bring them so I can AFK even moreso without bothering to click the ladder for prayer. Lower levels may opt to bring food instead, or just leave space open for loot.
Refer to the below table if you still aren't sure what gear to take.
Helm: Neitiznot > Berserker > Warrior
Plate: Bandos > Fighter Torso > Rune
Legs: Bandos > Dragon > Rune
Shield: Dragon Defender > Rune Defender > Dragonfire Shield > Obsidian Shield
Boots: Steadfast > Dragon
Gloves: Goliath > Barrows-Addy (RFD) > Regen Brace > Combat Brace
Amulet: Salve Amulet > Fury > Glory
Cape: Kiln Cape > Fire Cape > Skillcape
Weapon: Chaotic Rapier > Whip > Sara Sword > D Scimmy
Tips
• For a cheaper alternative to super strength pots, bring a Dragon Battleaxe for the spec, then sip a restore & super attack potion.
• Like other aggressive npc's, they will go passive after 15 minutes. Climbing up/down the ladder for prayer will reset the timer.
• It's not multi combat here so fighting familiars won't help you, however a bunyip can be handy.
• From picking up the noted drops here, you can make upto 200k gp/hour

they aren't great for charms, but they do drop them. Its just an added plus compared to bandits or w/e
